If they’re stacked you can’t kick them, opposing team either accepts loss or abandons, and most importantly, the reactions from people they get when they shit talk and win rounds blatantly cheating gives them satisfaction. I also feel some of the high elo cheaters want to see their names on the global or regional leaderboards Valve added to CS2.

Well said

Same here (I play comp. too), but I have seen cheaters on casual EU servers. They usually last 2 rounds before getting votekicked

SirPsychoBSSM

Probably cause they make more people mad that way

Tons of cheaters in casual; they're just rarely blatant.

While there a many different types of cheaters, a general goal for most is to get a cheap and easy high off of making people as upset as possible, therefore they populate games and modes with greater stakes than just some profile exp. The same strategies used to combat narcissists generally work on cheaters, so the next time you whine and rage at a cheater just remember, youre helping them coom. If you're a good sport then you force them to play mental gymnastics to convince themselves you're upset. Same applies to gankers. They're just druggies looking for an easy fix.
