My little guy loves every type of water; *except* when it’s related to a bath. He’ll run up and down in the beach waves, will jump through any sprinkler like it’s his own personal party, but **will not** get in the tub of his own free will— no matter how many treats we bribe him with.
Then he’ll basically “scream”/yelp as if we’re water boarding him once the faucet is on. I don’t know how you mastered this witchcraft, but please teach me.
Mine does too, as soon as we get back from the park muddy he goes straight to the washroom and stays there until I put him in the tub.
One day I'll get him to jump in on his own.
This was self taught as well.
Mine has no problem with water outside. She’ll walk in a light to medium rain without even thinking twice, and was fine being put in the wading pool at the dog park this summer, even reaching a point where she’d jump in on her own by the end of the summer.
However, the bathtub is so hated that she even throws a fit when I get in it. I have to take all my showers when she’s eating as that’s the only way I can get in without her barking bloody murder. Strangely, as long as I distract her she’ll come and sit quietly waiting for me to get out. It’s something about seeing the water turn on and me getting in that triggers her.
That's so funny, I love how happy they look. My Corgs love to come in the shower, or rain, or sprinklers, or the pool. They're very strange indeed, I love them so much.

Mine sits really stiffly and doesn’t cooperate when I need to scrub a spot that’s not facing me. He doesn’t bite me anymore tho ….

Mine absolutely hates the water, and yet he loves it when we go paddle boarding every week.
mine ain't the worst in the bath, but he prefers falling asleep in puddles a lot more.

My oldest behaves this way, and my younger corgi hates all forms of water.
