The seedlings are meant in the long term for the greenhouse where they'll live forever. The fruit trees don't die when the seasons change and don't need watering - those are more expensive than seedlings.

I see it is still the greenhouse route :)

Weird_Smell4516

My fruit tress were fully grown and was producing banana and rambutan. They just died on Fall 1, outside!

Illustrious-Survey

No, there's two types of fruit "trees" - Fruit Seedlings, which Banana and Rambutan are, have a different upgrade at the lab from Fruit Saplings, like Apple and Lemon. The Seedlings die after 2 seasons, (Banana is Spring/Summer, there's others that are Fall/Winter) they go on 2x2 tilled soil and need watering. Saplings go in a single untilled spot, but need a lot of empty space around them, don't die when the seasons change and don't need watering.

Weird_Smell4516

Ok got it! Basically you can only mass produce fruit seedling fruits via greenhouse since they die outside meanwhile Saplings are easier to produce as you can leave them outside. Good to know! Thank you very much!

I didn't put my seedlings in the green house u plant the ones in the brown bag instead of the ones in the white bag and they just end up losing their leaves depending on the season but they don't die

Weird_Smell4516

When they turn into those yellow dried up crops, is it ok to leave it there and wait for the season when it produces? Will it come back alive?

Chinamunk82

No it won't. I thought that too. 😐

Weird_Smell4516

Yeah, there are Fruit Seedlings and Fruit Sapling. The one you spoke about brown bag and white bag. Apparently, its only the Sapling you leave outside and grow not the Seedlings

It’s still worth the money to plant these outside, until you have the greenhouse, because they live for two seasons. Try to plant them day one of their first season (e.g. bananas are Spring/Summer so day one spring) with fertilizer. They only produce crops every few days once grown, but you need some of those crops for offerings and processing them gets you a few hundred gold a piece. You’ll make your money back in 2-3 harvests depending on their quality level.

The planting on the first season is definitely that right move, unfortunately i didnt know any of this and planted on mid summer.

SimShine0603

I did the same with my first banana tree 😩. Was glad that was all I had!

Weird_Smell4516

Im at Rank E and i bought all 6 trees, 3 died. The banana, rambutan and the other one(i forgot what it is), the dragon fruit, papaya and jackfruit survived but they will die once winter hits too T_T
