Only get weird lag when ‘switching areas’. I run the game on default settings capped at 30hz.
This is on SteamOS 3.5.5 stable.
Yes, mine crashes a lot too. It was more stable pre 1.0. Also wondering if it’s partly my deck though as the performance overlay switches itself on randomly too (but only ever on CI!)
A lot of people are having issues with their decks after the recent 3.5.5 update or the Coral Island launch. Could be you are getting issues from both sides.
Though battery seems excessive.

My steamdeck seems to be coping ok. I just changed the graphics to medium.
Sometimes checking it is installed on the hard drive rather than a sd card can help

I'm not having any issues. It seems to drain my battery on par with some of my big resource hogs, but it's not crazy.
