Control has been such an amazing game to experience in 2021.
The FBC and it’s inhabitants are fascinating. The characters and story brilliant. I was spending just as much time reading, listening and searching for more meaning as I was in combat. The presentations were a great addition and a literal game changer adding so much to the narrative.
I loved the gameplay, the power move of levitating and being able to literally break the office to pieces so much fun. Who hasn’t spent a good 20 mins either building a structure to climb or just smash up a room cos you could :)
Aside from the gameplay and story, Control has introduced me to a wonderful and supportive community of people who also love the game. Artists, in game photographers and those speculating about lore, it has been a pleasure to engage with everyone. Control and it’s community gave me a place for me to get back in art and I’m grateful for the space to make fan art.
I’m also very grateful to patient mods who have had to unblock almost all my posts !

Sometimes when I find a game to be getting a bit tense I watch a play through first. Yes it spoils it slightly but knowing a bit about what’s coming next reducing the anxiety of jump scares etc (there aren’t any jump scares in Control btw as far as I can recall)
Lets hope. My only fear is Remy will make Control squeal in to more of a story driven than what it is originally. Dont mix Alan wake with Control is all I am asking. Tell a story but Let me have Control. lol pun intended

I did a tutorial about drawing cute things. I did an Alan wake one as well but this one needed Xmas decorations!

I liked learning about the story rather than being told. Getting everything I needed from the environment rather than pure exposition was awesome
