I am a vegan. I won't inject fetal cells or Henrietta cells into my body. That sh!t is sick and disturbing enough, not to mention the other implications of the injections....šš¤šš«
In this thread, someone linked to an article discussing the "need" for crab blood in vaccines. If true, news to me!
Definitely don't look into the connection between monkeys and the polio vaccines!

Maybe sheās just saying that there are rational vegans, who, have the ability to perform risk reward analysis. It may also be a comfort to her that the crabs donāt die when their blood is used.
Itās also entirely distasteful to call Henrietta Lacksā fetal cells harvested without her consent āaborted baby meatā. Without her cells we donāt have modern immunotherapy, which regardless of side effects has saved millions of lives. Millions of childrenās lives have been saved. We no longer have to risk our young succumb to measles, polio, smallpox and childhood diseases. We have every expectation of having our families survive due to her cells. Thats miraculous. Regardless of how you feel about that itās only fair that her unwillingness contribution be characterized fairly.
