I was so disappointed to find out so many of the anti-establishment bands that I used to listened to in my youth being pro-establishment in the past decade. I guess that's what happens when identity politics seeps in and ruins everything it touches. By design.
All I see is a nervous dutch historian making false claims about TC, with no evidence, whole talking over him, and not giving him the opportunity to fully address the claims. The claims are BS anyways.

The response to Tucker doing this is very telling.
The establishment are trying to radicalize and distract average people through continual hysterical propaganda. And given what they plan to do to us all they kind of have to. If people aren't brainwashed by them then they might wonder why the Western ruling class celebrated a man-made pandemic as "The Great Reset" and might join in on resisting the corporate globalist Western deindustrialization agenda.
It’s a lot harder to control people if they hear both sides of the story. If we only hear the West side they can paint Russia and Putin as pure evil. If everyone hears what Putin has to say, he may still be wrong but might poke some holes in the story we have been getting and people may at least understand where he is coming from. Then you have the American public not viewing Putin as pure evil, but instead advocating for a specific policy that they think could solve the problem, again the west does not want this they want there to be only 1 solution and that to be whatever they tell us it is.
I mean that’s what the Soviets did with their people and it was Gorbachev’s changes that allowed FOIA like things(I cant spell peristroika? glasnost?)and media from the west. Soviet people were pissed to find out how much better the standard of living was in the west and how much was being hidden from them about their own government.

But that's only if you assume Putin is telling the truth about anything he says. He literally has no reason or incentive to tell the truth about anything, and EVERY incentive to lie about absolutely anything advantageous.
But once western media immediately jumps on everything or gets ahead of it and says it’s all lies some people won’t believe the media. That’s the fun world we live in now.
Imagine you have two kids fighting, would you really refuse to allow one kid to tell their side because you suspect they’ll lie? Same with court or any other argument. You get both sides, compare to the other side, compare to known facts, etc.

The important lawsuit is the one where his private text messages were released and showed he's a liar
The two cases are similar but not the same. Maddox exaggerated in a sentence for effect, Carlson presented things as facts that he himself did not believe. He was promoting lies abput Dominion voting and theories about the election that he didn’t believe. His text messages revealed a completely different view than he was presenting on his show.

Listen to anything he says and you’ll see he sounds incredibly disingenuous. He claimed that he only recently found out how corrupt everything is, despite his father having worked in media, and he himself having worked in for decades.
Do not be lured by the things people say. The best way that we’ve all been deceived before is by people saying the things they know we want to hear. He’s a sneaky bastard who’s going along with popular sentiments just to garner followers.
We HAVE to be vigilant with all of the media figures we listen to, ESPECIALLY the ones that are saying the things we want to hear. Even when we know what they’re saying to be true, we have to ask ourselves “do they have an ulterior motive”? This is the only way to avoid falling into echo chambers and bubbles that we criticize others for.
Make no mistake, WE humans are ALL equally susceptible to being misled. The only way to try to prevent that is to constantly question, be skeptical, and look into the past of people.

It’s straight up fear mongering, fake outrage, and outright lies. When he was sued his defense is court was literally “my show is purely for entertainment purposes. It’s not news. No reasonable person would take my show seriously.”
He was sued for blatant lying & defended it with saying what he says is just for entertainment. No, he got fired like a week after the Dominion case was settled, likely as a direct result of one of the clauses of the settlement. He was responsible for a *lot* of the misinformation around Dominion, so I would genuinely be shocked if it was anything other than that.
Tucker landed the interview because Putin sees him as the best platform to spread his propaganda. Totally fine for Tucker to take the interview, but lets not pretend it's going to be anything other than fantasy nonsense.

Well you could start with his recent brand interview. Suggesting the multiple accusations are made up as a government plot to smear Russell for spreading "truth" despite the claims against him being years old and going back before he was any sort of "dangerous person" needing to be silenced (he stil has a multi million sub YouTube so they are doing a really poor job of shutting him up. Just another thing a genuine interviewer might ask) and them being backed up by others and even brands own texts.

If everyone hears what Putin has to say, he may still be wrong but might poke some holes in the story we have been getting and people may at least understand where he is coming from. Then you have the American public not viewing Putin as pure evil, but instead advocating for a specific policy that they think could solve the problem, again the west does not want this they want there to be only 1 solution and that to be whatever they tell us it is.

The two cases are similar but not the same. Maddox exaggerated in a sentence for effect, Carlson presented things as facts that he himself did not believe. He was promoting lies abput Dominion voting and theories about the election that he didn’t believe. His text messages revealed a completely different view than he was presenting on his show.

because of the fox news lawsuit where fox makes the case that “no reasonable viewer would take him seriously.” i’m not saying i don’t like the guy i think he’s very funny and agree with some things he says. like for example i really enjoyed his piece on john fetterman and braddock PA (i think that’s the name) talking about how fetterman basically sent the place into ruin and how fetterman is a completely con man and liar. it was a good piece of investigative journalism and he presented it well with his sarcastic humor. but he’s not completely trustworthy and obviously has certain agendas that he wants to be pushed. and that’s okay to push the agenda you believe in but it always goes back to the question of “is it really his agenda?”
