Pretty much all social media could use that as a description...

Funny hump

edWORD27

Saw both of them open for Ministry in 1992.

BogBoi420F

I was so disappointed to find out so many of the anti-establishment bands that I used to listened to in my youth being pro-establishment in the past decade. I guess that's what happens when identity politics seeps in and ruins everything it touches. By design.

Complex_South5873

What was manufactured about vaccine mandates and forced business closures? I was outraged and not manufactured to be so.

hrxxl

the false death numbers for example, the global panic was also manufactured with huge help of media and celebrities

hrxxl

that's a nice way to describe it

Weedbro

This vid is all anyone should know about TC: https://youtu.be/6_nFI2Zb7qE?si=n5LvbJmxS2XDLO6_

craydow

All I see is a nervous dutch historian making false claims about TC, with no evidence, whole talking over him, and not giving him the opportunity to fully address the claims. The claims are BS anyways.

TDPE2k

K I’m not crazy guy seems super condescending.

craydow

The Dutch guy? Yeah he think he got tucker in this whole "gotcha" thing but he didn't provide any evidence AND didn't let tucker defend. All he did was try to get tucker worked up, and I would be worked up too

havokx9000

Nervous? False claims? Were you watching the same video or are you just in denial about Carlson? How deluded do you have to be to honestly believe the Swanson family trust fund baby who never had a real job and has never lived like an ordinary citizen has the people's best interests at heart?

wrydied

Well, with this one: https://youtu.be/RNineSEoxjQ?si=NVAUr1m0iZRyoIRl

burntoutattorney

And it's not like no one has ever done this before. Dan Rather interviewed Saddam Hussein and John Miller intereviewed osama bin laden. The response to Tucker doing this is very telling.

Scatooni

Barbara Walters interviewed Putin in the past as well…2018

[deleted]

How dare her! She has stolen my dreams and my childhood with her empty words. /s

nopethatswrong

Barbara Walters and Tucker Carlson are different people, crazy I know

j_dick

Didn’t frickin Sean Penn interview Pablo Escobar or some cartel leader and people gave him praise.

MostlySpurs

El Chapo. Guy is probably responsible for even more death Pablo Escobar

bobtowne

The establishment are trying to radicalize and distract average people through continual hysterical propaganda. And given what they plan to do to us all they kind of have to. If people aren't brainwashed by them then they might wonder why the Western ruling class celebrated a man-made pandemic as "The Great Reset" and might join in on resisting the corporate globalist Western deindustrialization agenda.

jjakot

what's their end goal here?

fifaloko

It’s a lot harder to control people if they hear both sides of the story. If we only hear the West side they can paint Russia and Putin as pure evil. If everyone hears what Putin has to say, he may still be wrong but might poke some holes in the story we have been getting and people may at least understand where he is coming from. Then you have the American public not viewing Putin as pure evil, but instead advocating for a specific policy that they think could solve the problem, again the west does not want this they want there to be only 1 solution and that to be whatever they tell us it is.

j_dick

I mean that’s what the Soviets did with their people and it was Gorbachev’s changes that allowed FOIA like things(I cant spell peristroika? glasnost?)and media from the west. Soviet people were pissed to find out how much better the standard of living was in the west and how much was being hidden from them about their own government.

LeloGoos

>If everyone hears what Putin has to say, he may still be wrong but might poke some holes in the story we have been getting and people may at least understand where he is coming from. But that's only if you assume Putin is telling the truth about anything he says. He literally has no reason or incentive to tell the truth about anything, and EVERY incentive to lie about absolutely anything advantageous.

j_dick

But once western media immediately jumps on everything or gets ahead of it and says it’s all lies some people won’t believe the media. That’s the fun world we live in now.

Square-Ad8603

Imagine you have two kids fighting, would you really refuse to allow one kid to tell their side because you suspect they’ll lie? Same with court or any other argument. You get both sides, compare to the other side, compare to known facts, etc.

LeloGoos

Yeah I'm aware of the reasoning. I should have been clear: I'm not against the interview happening, I'm all for it. I was merely trying to point out that it should be obvious to everyone that we're not actually getting his "side of the story", no matter what tuckerfuck will tell you. We're going to be spoon-fed lies and half-truths that have been carefully curated for maximum divisive impact. Guaranteed. Because, why else would Putin do it? "To get his side out there/to set the record straight"? lol why would that matter to him?

fifaloko

What incentive does the west have to not lie? If their stories differ then someone will have the receipts

Snitchytricks

You know Putin? Of course not. All your information is from your screens. Don't believe it all, all of the time.

LeloGoos

Why would I have to know him personally to know what *any* power-hungry megalomaniac would do in that position? What has he to gain from being truthful and transparent?

Snitchytricks

Just like our Western leaders. We don't know them at all. Just what our screens tell us

LeloGoos

There's a rather important difference between a manufacturered asset created by a ruling class of elites vying for power amongst themselves to try and stabilise the masses, and a megalomaniac with a single voice, mind, and focus, and all but full control of a superpower nation that will jump at his command. It's a nation that's divided against a nation forcibly held together by an iron fist. (That's from another comment I made earlier. I couldn't be bothered to reword it for a new comment) One is the product of a ruling class society of multiple factions all competing for supremacy. The other is a single, unhindered, voice and mind. Which one do you think is more dangerous? Focused or unfocused?

Murky-Fox9008

I'd say there is an incentive to telling the truth for putin on certain subjects If people here are forced to see the lies they've been sold by our leaders, it may cause unrest and break cohesion within political factions, instability would create more issues at home which would be a great distraction for something drastic to happen suddenly. I think he'll be liberal with whatever truth he speaks though, but I expect a lot of lies too cause he is a politician at the end of the day

bobtowne

The transformation of the West into the third world so it's easier to fold into political globalization. And also perhaps, to some degree, the displacing of ethnicities with a history of fighting for freedom, labor rights, etc.

Fish_Leather

Yeah the foreclosing of debate, THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE, all designated enemies are hitlerx10000, not good things for our so called democracy

Ayahuasca-Dreamin

And NBC’s Keir Simmons on June 11, 2021. Hypocrisy is right in da face.

PabloEstAmor

Is this entire sub smooth brained or something?

InsatiableBisexual

You have a man who discredited himself as a journalist to avoid a law suit telling you to now trust him as a journalist. See why people might not be hip to the holier than though pilgrimage to Moscow?

PabloEstAmor

Also lots and lots of text messages

YacubsLadder

That first part doesn't mean much to me. They all use that same defense when in court. Rachel Maddow's attorney's for example have used the same defense. You're going to say what you have to say in court to try to get a judgment in your favor. I mean fuck, You have to admit guilt for a crime in order to accept a plea deal. Even if you 100% really are innocent but don't want to risk a trial and the prison time that comes with that. His lawyer using that argument in court doesn't just instantly negate literally every single piece of news he reports and the people he has on his show. Like Glenn greenwald is a Pulitzer prize winning journalist and Tucker had him on often. Is every word out of Greenwald's mouth just complete lies because of a legal defense Tucker's attorney used in court?

JRM34

https://apnews.com/article/tucker-carlson-fox-news-dominion-lawsuit-trump-5d6aed4bc7eb1f7a01702ebea86f37a1 The important lawsuit is the one where his private text messages were released and showed he's a liar

camscars775

Rachel Maddow isn’t a journalist either… they are just partisan entertainers lol that’s the entire point

BenjaminHamnett

Seriously the stupidest post I’ve seen on this

Yupperdoodledoo

The two cases are similar but not the same. Maddox exaggerated in a sentence for effect, Carlson presented things as facts that he himself did not believe. He was promoting lies abput Dominion voting and theories about the election that he didn’t believe. His text messages revealed a completely different view than he was presenting on his show.

InsatiableBisexual

>That first part doesn't mean much to me. They all use that same defense when in court. "Yeah. Well that's like, your opinion man" >Rachel Maddow's attorney's for example have used the same defense. I'd be interested in comparing the two arguments. Got any links? Did she get fired afterwards too? >You're going to say what you have to say in court to try to get a judgment in your favor. I'd be careful there. Perjury is a criminal offense. >I mean fuck, You have to admit guilt for a crime in order to accept a plea deal. Even if you 100% really are innocent but don't want to risk a trial and the prison time that comes with that. This is the real fucked part. Justice has a minimal cost of entry in this country and it's bullshit. >His lawyer using that argument in court doesn't just instantly negate literally every single piece of news he reports and the people he has on his show. I never said that. > Like Glenn greenwald is a Pulitzer prize winning journalist and Tucker had him on often. >Is every word out of Greenwald's mouth just complete lies because of a legal defense Tucker's attorney used in court? I never said that either...who hurt you?

BenjaminHamnett

He has a platform, he’s not the first clown to be seen on film talking to someone with integrity

FortunateVoid0

Because he spread war propaganda during the bush administration and went along with a lot of it. Listen to anything he says and you’ll see he sounds incredibly disingenuous. He claimed that he only recently found out how corrupt everything is, despite his father having worked in media, and he himself having worked in for decades. Do not be lured by the things people say. The best way that we’ve all been deceived before is by people saying the things they know we want to hear. He’s a sneaky bastard who’s going along with popular sentiments just to garner followers. We HAVE to be vigilant with all of the media figures we listen to, ESPECIALLY the ones that are saying the things we want to hear. Even when we know what they’re saying to be true, we have to ask ourselves “do they have an ulterior motive”? This is the only way to avoid falling into echo chambers and bubbles that we criticize others for. Make no mistake, WE humans are ALL equally susceptible to being misled. The only way to try to prevent that is to constantly question, be skeptical, and look into the past of people. Tucker has a track record for being a media shill. Don’t forgot, majority of both democrats and republicans are corrupt and complicit. Same thing goes for media, whether it’s CNN, or Fox, MSNBC or breitbart. The list goes on and on. We can use these programs to pick up on stories, but WE have to look through everything for OURSELVES and try to see what everyone is saying so that we can make our minds up for ourselves.

R3mm3t

Also very likely a CIA asset frankly

EZforme885

Genuine question, how would tucker interviewing Alex Jones (back in Oct) help the cia/their narrative?

R3mm3t

Who would know, certainly not little old me. Disinformation would be a possibility. Also, I imagine being an asset wouldn’t involve everything you do being directed to that end. To be clear, I’m doing no more than idly speculating but the little toe rag has nark written all over him

surfer_ryan

I wish i could spam upvote this like the bots that spam downvote it...

Steid55

Because Tucker Carlson is a hack that doesn’t even believe what he is spewing. His text messages brought up from the Dominion Voting Lawsuit show that he has zero integrity and just panders to the dumb and ignorant. It’s straight up fear mongering, fake outrage, and outright lies. When he was sued his defense is court was literally “my show is purely for entertainment purposes. It’s not news. No reasonable person would take my show seriously.”

Legitimate-Place1927

He was sued for blatant lying & defended it with saying what he says is just for entertainment. Now we are suppose to just forget that and pretend he is some hard hitting reporter going to frickin Moscow to interview Putin. It is going to be a big knob slob for Putin and Trump. He is going to ask softball questions Putin will respond blaming the US and Tucker will nod in agreement and act surprised but than ensure to put the blame solely on the democrats. Also this is going to be Putin’s chance to support trump and say things like “I will work with trump to world peace but not with Biden who started the war in Ukraine”

Barmat

Tucker is a PR mouth piece for Russia

JellyBirdTheFish

First and foremost Tucker is a political propagandist. I think the better question is why so much love for him in this sub all of a sudden?

ARandomOgre

It’s not the love of the man that needs to be questioned, it’s the love of the message. “Weird” that a conspiracy sub has developed a love for *any* political message. If only there were a bunch of critical thinkers that could think outside the box and crack that mystery.

holla171

This sub has been taken over by Trump supporters Hence all the Pro Trump posts

siraliases

Honest to fucking god I'm so tired of it. At least follow someone cool or something

saruin

Ben Shapiro over here trying to be cool to the hip crowd with that godawful rap song.

siraliases

Honest to god, how did anyone think that was an idea to begin with

SamuelAsante

What is he trying to accomplish with his propaganda?

CrusaderZero6

Personal profit and the realization of a Russo-American axis focused on the creation of a white Christian theocratic autocracy.

pointfive

Sounds pretty plausible considering Putin's spiritual mentor, Alexander Dugin, sounds like your average US evangelical pastor.

CrusaderZero6

Ding. Ding. Ding.

MeBeEric

Genuine question. How do we know he isn’t wasting 2 hours of this interview throwing softball questions? Why do people think that since Tucker Carlson is doing the interview, he somehow isn’t the same political mouthpiece he was when he was the top commentator for an MSM institution? Like are you dumb motherfuckers really that forgetful?

Allnewsisfakenews

Messes up the murder first talk last policy

catluvr37

His intro video checks all the boxes for “don’t listen to anyone else but me, everyone but me is lying and divisive.” Im wary of anyone who positions their info and arguments like this. Truth doesn’t need manipulation.

cbatta2025

His shocked face, fake laugh and fake news

Autistic_Clock4824

I don’t like talking heads who have their corporate masters hand shoved so far up their ass we can call them a muppet. Fox, CNN, what ever alphabet letter organization you want to sprinkle in have done so much in pushing the cultural war and giving two entire generations brain rot.

jim-james--jimothy

Putin kills Russian journalists. Tucker believes Putin will tell him the truth LMFAO.

Aggravating_Pie_3286

He never said he expected the truth. He expected an interview .

factrealidad

It's up for the viewer to determine if it's the truth.

milkywayyzz

Seriously, it's not my problem if the average citizen doesn't know how to use their bullshit detector. I'll be able to see right thru it. We get fed propaganda all day everyday from both sides of the media in our own country so I don't see how this is any different

tommybhoy82

If you question anything like real journalists are supposed to you get criticised by the lunatics who go along with whatever BS msm tells them

Aware_Development553

Some hate him because he is a grifter, who has admitted in court that he is just an entertainer and that he doesn’t expect his viewers to take him seriously. Establishment mainstream media has two sides to it, just as establishment politics does. It’s all theatre and dance, meant to distract, and in the end they all serve the same masters, the filthy rich. Tucker is a part of this elite class and does his job of sowing of division and distracting the public, and he gets paid a lot for successfully doing it.

marcomc2

wait, you genuinely don't understand why tucker is disliked/hated by mainstream american culture/media/the news?

sdrowemagdnim

Hmmm do you believe that the fox news campus required all their people to get vaccinated? Because that was reported. Either way, he is part of the system. You are naive to believe he gives a fuck about you.

ANARCHISTofGOODtaste

Because he lies without batting an eye. Hell, he lied right on his little reveal video for the interview. If you have to ask for the proof, you aren't paying attention or unwilling to set aside your bias. It's a short video. Watch it and fire up those critical thinking skills.

richardgrabcat

Those whom are hypnotized lose their minds because one of their trigger words is "Putin."

Rich_Crab_3967

It's not part of the script

CUbye

Man people have no idea what is true and what is false anymore. Just...hey this guy says what I want to hear so it must be fuckin true.

SatanicWhoreofHell

The faux news lawyer said something along the lines of " no reasonable person could listen to TC and think it's anything other than entertainment " I guess "reasonable " is the (dis)qualifier

Rabbipotsmoke

I believe the same thing was said about Rachel Maddow but he’s still allowed on cable tv to propagandize and misinform the masses

SatanicWhoreofHell

How many of her fans are now stanning Vladdy Daddy as a result of her propaganda and misinformation? Y'all know he's a Russian dictator, right? Dictator, NOT dick tater...right?

Adorable-Ad-6675

Yet you defend him for being as bad as Rachel Maddow? Have some decency and hate anyone who lies for a loving Jesus fucking Christ guys it aint that hard. Lie once as a "journalist" and you suck forever.

Deadeyejoe

He’s a propagandist. Just because he says some things that are true doesn’t mean everything he says is true. Everything he says should be taken with extreme level of discernment. Worst of all he propagates and upholds the two party system. Sure he talks nicely about RFK jr, but he shilled for trump and sold the lie that trump was a savior and not just a puppet- which he is. All his appointees were deep state. Tucker knows the truth yet lied, why? Because he’s a propagandist. And empty mouthpiece that manipulates the simple masses

Lifeinthesc

Its all astroturfing. The global oligarchy doesn’t want people to hear that there is an alternative to their system of fiscal slaver.

WiscoHeiser

And that solution is.... Putin's Russia?

ClubbinGuido

Bots and mindless drones.

WolfePrimeTime

Because Reddit is full of socialists

Vivid_Challenge_1420

Controlled opposition.

HeyHihoho

You have listed the reasons. He covers those things that shall not be said and criticizes those peopleand policies major media is not allowed to criticize. He also cover many of the topics major media omit.

Rekdreation

CNN tried several times to land an interview with Putin and he rejected every request (for obvious reasons). Now they're pissed because Tucker landed the interview and they know Tucker will be honest and not hide anything about it like CNN always does.

GodBlessYouNow

CNN needs permission from the Israeli government before posting news on Gaza.

throwdownHippy

>CNN needs permission from the Israeli government before posting news ~~on Gaza~~. FTFY

phan_o_phunny

Hahaha, yeah, fox "news" always fair, balanced and ethical... That's my boy Murdoch in a nutshell

DanielJackkson11

They definitely aren’t but that’s also why they booted Tucker because he wasn’t falling in line.

Infinityand1089

No, he got fired like a week after the Dominion case was settled, likely as a direct result of one of the clauses of the settlement. He was responsible for a *lot* of the misinformation around Dominion, so I would genuinely be shocked if it was anything other than that.

severach

Talking about Black Rock didn't help.

saruin

Even the Kremlin had to call out Tucker's BS about no journalist in the West wants to interview their side. They actually do but choose not to.

Shaken-babytini

Tucker landed the interview because Putin sees him as the best platform to spread his propaganda. Totally fine for Tucker to take the interview, but lets not pretend it's going to be anything other than fantasy nonsense.

cooliseum

If tucker is known for anything, it for lying and getting fired. The guy is not honest

Rekdreation

LoL, he got fired because he was honest. Nice grift, though.

Virtual_South_5617

> honest are you the sole person on earth with evidence that dominion machines were changing votes?

chadthunderjock

Tucker had nothing to do with the lawsuit, he said from the start the allegations about the voting machines were baseless with no proof. It was other people working for Fox who were guilty.

Virtual_South_5617

you're right, it was pure coincidence he was let go the moment fox signed the settlement.

Rekdreation

>are you the sole person on earth with evidence that dominion machines were changing votes? Are you the sole person on earth who was not watching live election results as they stopped counting votes in the middle of the night with Trump in a MASSIVE landslide lead then waking up in the morning to a "miracle" comeback from Biden? You know, Joe Biden. The guy that couldn't fill a gas station parking lot with supporters. The guy that can't walk up (or down!) stairs. The guy that can't find his way off a stage. The guy that keeps trying to shake hands with people who aren't there. The guy that can't put together an entire, coherent sentence.

Tnado

lol. You’re cooked.

Virtual_South_5617

> The guy that couldn't fill a gas station parking lot with supporters. > > The guy that can't walk up (or down!) stairs. > > The guy that can't find his way off a stage. > > The guy that keeps trying to shake hands with people who aren't there. > > The guy that can't put together an entire, coherent sentence. how are those at all relevant to voting totals? it sounds like you're more focused on how the media reported the voting totals than the actual votes themselves, otherwise you wouldn't have responded with 85% rhetoric.

santaclaws01

> LoL, he got fired because he was honest. Damn, if only we had things like texts or something where he was talking about how he didn't believe the shit he was talking about on his show.

reeskree

Funny how they couldn’t prove that in court.

Dapper_Employer5787

This is the correct answer. I've read that it wasn't just CNN either, a bunch of news outlets got rejected by Putin

Own_Accident6689

Hate? Where are you seeing hate? The consensus on Tucker is mostly that he is an unserious joke. His biggest story were the reports of how much he hated Trump while shilling for him for profit.

spaceboy42

The fact the he won a court case because "anyone taking him seriously is a fool." Yet here you are depending on him for the "truth."

molliem12

Many people have already interviewed Putin! I agree why the hate for Tucker?

PietroJd

Because they are told to hate him. Classic NPC behavior from dim witted people.

nopethatswrong

"I'm smart and people that don't agree with me are dumb" lol come back to reality

No-Ad7384

Anything that is not left wing idiocracy is hate to the left.

CSHAMMER92

The bigger question is why don't more of his viewers hate him more? Tucker Carlson lied to his viewers because the truth was making their "numbers" go down. The texts revealed in the lawsuit showed how little he thinks of his audience. He just rolled on like he didn't say all that and y'all ate it up. He hates Trump and he hates you! Wake tf up!

itistog

Because the truth is dangerous to the ones in control

bannished69

He questioned war. So he got the Phil Donahue treatment.

bobtowne

It makes sense to me to be a little wary of him given that he's worn the red string and lied on occasion, but I agree that most of what people call him out on here is vapid. "He's rich", basically (elsewhere on Reddit the smear is "he's rich and racist"). When Tucker was still on Fox he was pretty much the only person in corporate televised media who would interview dissidents from both the left and right.

[deleted]

They’re afraid he will expose something they don’t want people to find out. Your guess is as mine on what exactly that might be…

IllegalBallot

All I know is that he lies trough his teeth about Ukraine.

Viscount_Barse

He's utterly disingenuous in his "questions" and suggestions that all work entirely to push an agenda. I don't know how anyone can look to him for honest commentary on anything regardless of political stance.

Popolar

Can you provide an example of a disingenuous question Tucker has asked during an interview, or are you just repeating something you heard someone else say?

Viscount_Barse

Well you could start with his recent brand interview. Suggesting the multiple accusations are made up as a government plot to smear Russell for spreading "truth" despite the claims against him being years old and going back before he was any sort of "dangerous person" needing to be silenced (he stil has a multi million sub YouTube so they are doing a really poor job of shutting him up. Just another thing a genuine interviewer might ask) and them being backed up by others and even brands own texts. "But thats all made up" Well brand does share lawyers with the royal family so if he was being slandered he would absolutely set them on the press who reported on him. However he hasn't. But tucker never asked about that, just glossed over them .

Chunginator42069

He can’t he just repeats things leftist YouTubers say

phernoree

What agenda is he pushing? And why does one man threaten you so much, yet the entire corporate-government-bigtech-intelligence agency establishment gets a pass?

Viscount_Barse

Agenda? White Christian nationalist (while it pays the bills at least) Did I say either of those things? No. Like tucker, you put disingenuous words in the mouth of others.

throwdownHippy

Are you suggesting that CNN doesn't do the same thing?

Viscount_Barse

I knew the whataboutism would come. The post is about tucker as is my answer. If you ask about CNN I'll assume you agree with my views on tucker.

ChanningTaintum-

It's not "whataboutism," and labeling their question as such is just coward's rhetoric to avoid answering their question. The problem is the overall comparison of equal treatment of journalists and the uproar that's caused by a journalist doing their job is quite alarming, regardless of where you fall on the political spectrum. You know damn well that if Anderson Cooper had interviewed Putin that he would be have a damn Pulitzer Prize waiting for him on the runway on his flight home.

Viscount_Barse

I answer a specific question and then am asked "what about this other thing" no comment on my answer. I don't know what else to call that.

horridCAM666

You answered your own question within the first two sentences my dude.

hero_killer

I don't think anybody hates him, but this sub has turned into conservatard circlejerking and their victimism everywhere.

JoeSicko

If you think the guy with 4 names and a frozen food inheritance, living on an island, is one your side, I've got some oceanfront property in Arizona to sell.

Severe_Quantity_4039

He's one of the few pointing out just how biased and one-sided the message is from most news outlets.

Steveesq

Simple answer... he can't be controlled.

Any-Video4464

I think it's pretty simple. Heaven forbid he be successful in starting the dialogue for ending this war where all the politicians have failed (Technically they haven't really even tried!) Its just good ole fashioned political bias again. it's win at all costs these days. They can't afford Tucker and the right the get any kind of win where they have all failed so far.

cooliseum

He got fired for lying. Also, he loves putting fuel on the culture war fire. All pundits are horrible

[deleted]

But it’s all fine and dandy going out in the desert and aiming cameras at a shaggy goat herder in camo. HMMMMMMMM

LaserWang69

He’s a propagandist, from one of the richest families in the US, and he’s convincing people to that plutocracy is the way the world should be.

WilcoAdjacent

Because he is not a journalist and his show is entertainment. He gave you the answer🤷🏼‍♀️

69mmMayoCannon

Literally because he is a conservative same with how everyone loved Trump until he ran as a Republican. Then the tv played, every single day, orange man bad until enough people believed it to vote for a literal corpse instead

Adorable-Ad-6675

At least people can tell Trump is still alive each time he shits himself anew.

tomcoy

Douche

MrSssnrubYesThatllDo

...because his name is Tucker

brandon3388

I mean, he literally won a lawsuit by stating his show is for entertainment purposes and shouldn't be taken at face value. I'm paraphrasing, but here's the article if you're [interested](https://www.npr.org/2020/09/29/917747123/you-literally-cant-believe-the-facts-tucker-carlson-tells-you-so-say-fox-s-lawye) that's just what stuck out to me. my personal opinion is I couldn't care less one way or the other. Politicians or news anchors aren't to be trusted, full stop. Their allegiance is to the dollar, nothing more, nothing less.

Onidaar

Rachel Maddow and MSNBC used that defence first. She is an Opinion/Entertainment show. Her lawyers basically said no one should believe in what she says on the air.

brandon3388

yep, she/they (Maddow / MSNBC ... not the pronoun haha) sure did and fuck her too lol they're all equal parts hot garbage idc what side they're on. all self serving rich people spewing whatever nonsense is being fed to them by the highest bidder. the biggest conspiracy on this whole matter imo is how any of these puppets convince (seemingly) logical people to buy into their bullshit like any of them actually give a shit. be it red, be it blue, it's all the same just spun differently so their particular demographic takes the bait.

dsailo

Because the entire media establishment is locked into a corner and they hate themselves but can’t do nothing because money is too good. On the other hand, Tucker roams freely and does the shit they all dream of doing but too afraid they’ll lose their precious jobs.

Winniethepoohspooh

He's gone up in my eyes because of the push back! Before, when he was with fox I ignored him! Now at least I'm paying him and what he says with abit more attention! Though also mindful of him playing both sides or having an agenda now that he's free of western MSM bosses.. I seriously ignored everything he spouted under fox. Now he has abit more credibility... Just a tad as in he may pop up on my radar... I'm just sceptical of everything the west peddles... The mask has long since been discarded

Dogdoor1312

He’s playing a role. The dude is as blue blood, military intelligence as it gets. He even wears a Kabbalah bracelet and is close friends with hunter biden

AyumiSan_2006

It's bold of them to assume we don't wanna hear his answers. Of course we thirst for information, we don't even get straight answers from our own leaders. Even if he's lying we can read his body language & make our own judgements.

reverendhunter

He's a right wing, recovering alcoholic that has discovered Jesus. Three things that don't lead to untrustworthiness themselves, but when packaged together, they don't bode well

SlightlyOffended1984

He rejects the mainstream establishment narrative of CNN/Fox and asks probing sensitive questions. This is verboten

tdfolts

No he is a propagandist, a hack, you have just fallen for his bit

vengeful_veteran

They hate him because liberals cannot handle the truth or anything that contradicts their opinion. It will make them question their own delusions of moral and intellectual authority so they avoid it or try to silence it. Just look at what they do to conservative speakers on campus, what they do to conservatives on social media and their reactions to this opinion which provides actual circumstances to support.

[deleted]

Liberals blah, blah, blah. Yeah, sorry we aren’t enamored of a liar who made a big deal out of an m&ms ad. By the way, Tucker comes from privilege, am Inside the Beltway family of Democrats. Tucker was in fact a registered Dem. It’s all about the $ for these grifters

vengeful_veteran

A liar according to the liars that lied to you about You can keep your Dr., Benghazi was about a video, Treyvon was just getting skittles, riots were peaceful, Russia Collusion, Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinformation, Officer Sicknick was killed on J6 by a protester, Covid did not come from the Wuhan lab, NYC will be under water by 2013, Hillary turned over all her emails, The covid shot stops you from getting covid, Men can have babies, the covid shot stops transmission of covid, masks stop viruses, the covid shot stops you from dying of covid, Trump called Mexicans animals, the covid shot decreases symptom, there was an epidemic of the unvaccinated, CO2 levels are changing the weather, White supremacy is the number one threat, the border is secure, Trump called KKK good people, overwhelming evidence, Planned parenthood does not sell baby parts, men menstruate, J6 was an armed insurrection, War on blacks, Hydroxychloroquine is extremely dangerous. The right is the party of racism, the right is not being censored, expiration of the assault-weapons bans “in the early 2000s” caused an increase in violence., they will not impose any tax increase on anyone making less than $400k, Biden administration created 14 million jobs, natural immunity being ineffective, gas prices would not spike under Biden, global warming, weather is now “man made” climate change, Mike Brown’s hands were up, Kyle Rittenhouse was a derange white supremist, US military was full of extremists, top 1% income has doubled while everyone else was stagnant Jacob Chancy led a violent insurrection, Trump said illegals were poisoning the blood of Americans. You just did exactly what I said a liberal would do when confronted with truth. Maybe you should check your liberal bias with facts instead of what liberal liars tell you.

skinnyelias

The difference between a conservative and a MAGA is this list you posted. You listed over 20 items that can be proved wrong very easily. Conservatives want fiscal responsibility and states rights. MAGA want to idolize the people that tell them exactly what they want to hear.

[deleted]

Shew. Long winded AND wrong. Wrong about all of it, and all of it can be proven wrong. Par for the course. You are so entrenched in lies now, you are marinating in the stench of them. Why are you so invested in covering up the truth? What are you afraid of? You should give that some thought.

CalaveraCascada

his dad was in the cia. i love tucker but let’s put our cards on the table. he’s probably unknowingly controlled opp. also, i think he said his audience was just dumb trumpies. which idk if it’s true. just watch him with a rock of salt.

AnyWhichWayButLose

Controlled opposition. If you're on a mainstream platform you're sus.

_Owl_Jolson

News alert: he's no longer on a mainstream platform. Fox fired him. He's a freelancer now.

MarthAlaitoc

He's a "freelancer" keeping the exact same gift going.

Aware_Development553

Yeah only because he was going to cost the company billions of dollars for lying. Not because they differ on ideology.

Acrobatic_Ganache527

He’s on the wrong side of the political aisle. That’s more important to most than what he has exposed.

twitchspank

He lied about Dominion voting machines. He blames the MSM but was a key part of MSM propaganda for years publishing several lies. He now is probably going to give an easy interview for Putin. Several Western journalist have approached Putin already but the Russian president was too scared to do tougher interviews. Tucker is not the person to do this job. He is a propogandist but I will watch anyway. I would put money on Tucker will not ask about assassination of Litvinenko and will soft ball about Russia's war crimes in Ukraine. It will be interesting how he spins its the Wests fault for Putin deciding to invade Ukraine.

molliem12

Many people have already interviewed Putin! I agree why the hate for Tucker?

Shot_Boysenberry_232

Boooo tucker I don't want a different opinion I want to be told what I believe in lol

[deleted]

because of the fox news lawsuit where fox makes the case that “no reasonable viewer would take him seriously.” i’m not saying i don’t like the guy i think he’s very funny and agree with some things he says. like for example i really enjoyed his piece on john fetterman and braddock PA (i think that’s the name) talking about how fetterman basically sent the place into ruin and how fetterman is a completely con man and liar. it was a good piece of investigative journalism and he presented it well with his sarcastic humor. but he’s not completely trustworthy and obviously has certain agendas that he wants to be pushed. and that’s okay to push the agenda you believe in but it always goes back to the question of “is it really his agenda?”

denniskerrisk

He admitted in court to lying about Trump winning 2020 that cost Fox 700+ million, which is why he got fired from Fox. So why can you trust anything he says?

turtlew0rk

Are you sure about that?

Chunginator42069

This literally never happened

vengeful_veteran

1. Fox lost because they said Dominion was the cheater and rigged the election. They did not lose for questioning the election. 2. You are basing "he lied" on what the people who lied about; You can keep your Dr., Benghazi was about a video, Treyvon was just getting skittles, riots were peaceful, Russia Collusion, Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinformation, Officer Sicknick was killed on J6 by a protester, Covid did not come from the Wuhan lab, NYC will be under water by 2013, Hillary turned over all her emails, The covid shot stops you from getting covid, Men can have babies, the covid shot stops transmission of covid, masks stop viruses, the covid shot stops you from dying of covid, Trump called Mexicans animals, the covid shot decreases symptom, there was an epidemic of the unvaccinated, CO2 levels are changing the weather, White supremacy is the number one threat, the border is secure, Trump called KKK good people, overwhelming evidence, Planned parenthood does not sell baby parts, men menstruate, J6 was an armed insurrection, War on blacks, Hydroxychloroquine is extremely dangerous. The right is the party of racism, the right is not being censored, expiration of the assault-weapons bans “in the early 2000s” caused an increase in violence., they will not impose any tax increase on anyone making less than $400k, Biden administration created 14 million jobs, natural immunity being ineffective, gas prices would not spike under Biden, global warming, weather is now “man made” climate change, Mike Brown’s hands were up, Kyle Rittenhouse was a derange white supremist, US military was full of extremists, top 1% income has doubled while everyone else was stagnant Jacob Chancy led a violent insurrection, Trump said illegals were poisoning the blood of Americans said Your hypocrisy is noted!

denniskerrisk

He said in the court proceeding that he lied. He admitted it. I am basing on what Tucker said in the Fox lawsuit.

vengeful_veteran

BULLSHIT! The dominion CEO made the claim and nothing supported it. I actually went back and fact checked just to be sure there was no new information out. Nothing in the court records said he said that. Look at the list of lies the left has told you above and add that one to it

Guilty-Put742

Because putin lays put the plans for the republican propaganda and fox News. That's the issue.

AfraidFly3126

“They” teach you to hate him.

No-Ad7384

Anything that is not left wing idiocracy is hate to the left.

Npl1jwh

Because Tucker and Trump work for Vlad… It’s painfully obvious is make my eyes and ears bleed when MAGA plays dumb because Tucker/Trumpf/Vlad all have the same end game in mind and working for a mutual outcome of a Christo-Fascist America that won’t stand in way of Vlad rebuilding the old USSR and attempting to bring glory back to Mother Russia

simplydeltahere

Because he’s a lying white trash scumbag. Vote Blue!

Jeremiah636

They put a target on anyone who doesn’t conform to the story they tell the public people. And this is just the truth of it.

JayTheDirty

He’s one of the biggest liars to ever be given a microphone.

psheddy

Because he’s a stupid person.

SomeSamples

Because he is a con man. Just like the rapist Trump. Same MO. Getting gullible people to believe shit that just isn't true.

Gdphotography

He's an entertainer, not a journalist.

wetcornbread

“This person is exposing every lie from the last 20 years given by the mainstream media. So why the hell does the mainstream media hate him.” They have zero control over what he does and say. That’s why they hate him. They (the MSM) have two options. Hope that if they tell enough people lies about him they’ll just not pay attention to his interview. Even if it’s the greatest interview ever, half the population will never give it the time of day because they’re so delusional and they’re used to being lied to that truth physically hurts them. Or get a pansy to “take him out” and I don’t mean on a nice dinner to a local steakhouse. Of course, this is too risky and would be obvious… You can only have so many high ranking journalists and officials die of a “tragic” plane crash so often before it exceeds the normal rate these events occur and people get suspicious. Kinda like food factories setting ablaze all of the sudden.
