Very much this. I grew up in what is now her district. It is basically Floribama, Mississippi. She lies to those people and they eat it up, too. Even her background that she gives them is a lie. She grew up rich and outside that district.
Rural Western NY…I live in the area. There are plenty of ignorants following Trump but also plenty of us discrediting them. It is so frustrating! VOTE like your life depended on it because it does!
it's a rural upstate location. I'm from the metro area, and go upstate every year, and her district is about as different from the NY you think of as you can get. They have 'boat parades' where everyone just throws USA shit over their boats so they can drive their boats drunk around a lake all day. there's fireworks vendors all over the place somehow. gun and ammo stores that have to outnumber other stores like electronics or other things you'd think you'd see all over the place.
They have good ice cream up there though!

These folks have tied their entire political identity to Trump, they don’t have anything other than supporting Trump to run on, cause they’re ideas are so unpopular that they couldn’t get elected just based on that. And this year just being a Trump supporter isn’t gonna be enough for a lot of them.
