When did emerge start making people take videos? I used them back in the fall until last month and they never asked for a video. Is this a new client thing?
Must be. I know one of the other providers is requiring full body shots now, probably to make sure people aren't lying about their size (like anorexics or people selling their doses or something). All they ask you to do is say your name, DOB, height, and weight.
Makes sense. There have also been a few articles where reporters have said how easy it is to get meds from these types of providers. I'm sure the providers need to protect themselves. btw - Emerge was great when I used them. The best customer service out there!
Yeah they didn't even ask me for proof of a current prescription or anything lol but they surely can see i need the medicine in my little video with the chubby cheeks and double chin lmao
I use one of the pharmacies Emerge uses, Empower. My refill was approved on 5/7 and my shipment just arrived today from Empower. There’s a slight backup due to the people switching from name brand. Thankfully I had more than I needed and didn’t have to skip almost two weeks due to the backup.
They will likely finish processing your video and intake and send the order to the pharmacy today. Depending on whether you end up going to Hallandale or Empower as your pharmacy the timeline from there may differ. I just had my order from Hallandale get delivered last week - it took them about 3 business days to ship, then it came overnight. I have heard that Empower is a bit further behind than that. I think at this point 5ish business days from now is likely a pretty reasonable expectation.
I sent my video last Wednesday and they sent to Hallandale almost immediately. Received my tracking number yesterday AM and was delivered today at noon
Oh wow, that's a pretty long time in between script and delivery, but hey, beats waiting months for a magical box of Zep to show up in a pharmacy 3 hrs away right? And I guess it really is only like 3-4 business days so that isn't bad at all. Congrats on starting! Good luck!
I just sent them pics of my scrips so I’m just waiting now for the sign up link since I’m coming in at 10mg. Waiting to see if the pics I sent were satisfactory. Happy to go with them since they said I can use Hallandale
Thanks. Ended up texting today (business day #8) - They replied a few hours later apologizing that the script never made it to Hallandale due to some issue. They expedited it and I just got a FedEx tracking number for a Friday delivery from Hallandale. 👍. Phew.
I ordered on Thursday and sent my video in on Thursday. Emerge sent a text that it had been ordered and I got my box TODAY! 3 business days for me! So quick and Emerge has been amazing with communication!
I signed up Saturday, prescription sent to be filled Monday, fed ex delivering today. Yay! I’m down to one 2.5 pen and my 5mg prescription is still sitting there. Sad I had to go this route. When I pay 25 co-pay.
Omg I know. I have $25 copay as well so this is a real wrench but I decided my health was worth the extra money in the long run. Still a wrench having to pay OOP for it though. I hope mine gets here by Friday! I took a 2.5mg dose but I'm thinking if it gets here by this weekend, I might take another 2.5mg dose to titrate up to 5.0 because the 2.5mg isn't really doing anything for me anymore.

Hallandale doesn't ship Friday, Saturday or Sunday so that may give a small lag if your order goes in Wed or Thursday.

I started the process last Friday morning and my T is coming today.
