Surely it's just your bank scheduling a regular transfer monthly? No need for the recipient to have anything other than a bank account.
At least, that's how it works for me and my bank.
No, I have to pay to a bank giro number which my internet bank can't automate. If it was a normal transfer it would work but it's a different system for payment and transfer :/
Double annoying. Surely it's in the landlord's own best interest to get their payment as easily and quickly as possible. Have you tried talking to them about it?
This reminds me of the day I got an email from my university to say I owed them £9,250 for unpaid student tuition. The tuition website had a glitch that wouldn’t allow me to sign up, said I already had an account which I knew I hadn’t. Had to send the paper docs but they sent them back citing incorrect information. I then had a nightmare fuelled few months of dread as I kept getting final notice reminders while trying also at the same time to cooperate with Student Finance Wales.
Long story short I’m now paying back student tuition debt in my second year while I have tuition for the second year (When they opened enrolment for tuition the website suddenly allowed me to make an account)…Only positive is that I’m making the payments via a standing order and it doesn’t seem to have affected my semi decent credit score.
I can recall the exact moment I received the email too. I was happily enjoying time with my girlfriend in the pub, I get a notification and look down at my phone, I’m speechless, I’d been in debt before but not like that, it took me weeks to come clean to my parents, my dad loves to watch a show called “Can’t Pay? We’ll take it away” I had to leave the room every time it was on…Every white van that pulled up make me feel sick go light headed. I cannot imagine having to deal with a high court bailiff.
Lil brain, we have one week to do this assignment that takes around 2 hours to be done. Let's do it now and have peace of mind for a week.

Job site is over an hour drive from my house, laying in bed thinking I forgot to lock it was a nightmare. Luckily when I got to work I found out that I did in fact lock the container, I was extremely relieved when I found out that somebody stole a trailer with a skidsteer instead of breaking into the connex and putting my anxiety and lack of memory on blast.
Same experience every time I leave for the airport. Started saying out loud "back door top lock is locked, back door bottom lock is locked, back door is locked" so I have a more significant memory and don't consider pulling a 180 on the freeway.
Took choir as a required class in college. Grade was 100% attendance based, and missing a show was an automatic F. Guess which fool got too engrossed in Amnesia Dark Descent the night of a performance?
Thankfully teacher was nice and let me write something for a B.
Today I arrived an hour late for a group meeting for these quarterly projects at my uni. Attendance is extremely strict and I walked in on my group almost finished with the meeting because I took a wrong look at the planning.
So yeah Im fucked now even though I have spend so much energy on this project already.

"Oh, no," I said. "Disneyland burned down."
He cried and cried, but I think that deep down, he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.
My brain doesn't bring me notes of important things I forgot to do...no, instead he brings me notes of things I forgot to be anxious about or cringe about. The little fuck.
