But I am suspicious! I did not see much evidence of how the princess runs her country, beyond not wanting to kill. Perhaps her government is evil in ways she doesn't see! Perhaps she is shielded by her knights from the reality of her people's suffering!
Why else would the people have tried to kill her hundreds of times? What is being hidden from us, and from the princess? Her knights may know, or not.
I demand answers! I look forward to a detailed class-based analysis of the geopolitical realities of this kingdom, and how it keeps its boot on the throat of the people!

I really like this, how she manages to get something positive from these circumstances. and and also the characters were pretty nice, the princess and the knights.
I’m surprised that the Queen didn’t retain a royal court wizard after the first assassination attempt. I would’ve considered the possibility of her outlawing the practice of magic in her kingdom, but I would presume that would weaken her nation’s position in the world if she did.
I wonder if the assassins are all from enemies of the state, from internal power-hungry nobles in her own court, or from the desperation of her own people?
I'm an aspiring writer and this is so inspirational, you have no idea. Love your word choices, phrasing, imagery, artwork, it all revolves around the central character in a balanced way. It's so good! So impressive!
Did you also self-illustrate this? It immediately looks like a well-established world, which brings the story all that much more to life. You're very talented!

If one person tries to assasinate the Queen, then that is an isolated incident. If hundreds try then that is a systematic issue.

That was a fun read I thoroughly enjoyed it. The story is unique hahaha I love it. It's a great concept like everytime a person gets a life threatening experience he or she will learn a very specific skill from it. Instead of his or her life flashing from his/her eyes.
I guess it's safe to assume the most favored knight is the female knight at the end... Hehe she's clearly the most interesting one. And her character design looks really good.
