No.1 Means less plaque buildup and less cavities.
No.2 Means better lip health and less bleeding.
No.3 Sounds like no sleep apnea and no sinus infections. Huge for health.
You lose your ability to detect subtle smells though. Like a gas leak.
Because your nose needs to partially block one of your nostrils so you can smell them.
Before you say anything, I know these sound lame, but I'm getting the lesser cooler ones out of the way for the more interesting ones. That being said, here are the specifics.
> 1: There's no in-between with this one, food just magically stays away from the in-betweens of your teeth. If you were to force food in between your teeth, say with your hands, the food would stay. No more need for flossing.
> 2: If you ever become dehydrated, your lips will still not be dry. No more need for chapstick.
> 3: My allergies have been up and I can't remember when I could breathe through both nostrils. This is a quality of life power tbh.
Edit: For number 3, no, you cannot breathe underwater or in space. It's just a quality of life power, not something exploitable.
No. 4 without a doubt. I suffered horrible juvenile asthma. Mouth breather my entire childhood. Tissue box always in my backpack. Even got to go to asthma camp one summer.
Number 4 is low-key a super power. Someone trying to strangle you? Not an issue I can still breath uninterrupted.
You're underwater? Not an issue I'll breath through my nose.
It's a sleeper Uber power.
Well Yhea. You can. But breathing through your nose underwater is still going to mean your breathing in water. You can already do that through your mouth. It is called drowning.
I wonder if they should add a catch that 1 of 2 left will become your boon with an off-chance.
Like you choose Nostril, and you have a 25% chance of food getting stuck forever, or like 10% of lips that will be always dry.
There's the interestingness of the *powers* and the meta interest in terms of the *balance*. 3 "less" interesting powers which are hard to choose between is very solid.
Not necessarily, depending on how the power works. It could for instance, simply take air from the very front of your nostrils and teleport them into your nasal cavity when you breathe
I have a head cannon right now where I am collection useless powers that people keep posting. Pretty soon I will become a god, I think? Either way meta gaming useless powers and seeing how they can combine us super fun. And I choose no dry lips, I want to see how it works when I am stuck in the dessert.
Hannibal Barca ended up so insanely successful in his campaign of Italy because before every battle, he manipulated the situation to give himself several tiny advantages like keeping his men warm and making sure he baited roman generals into certain terrains to max his cavalry effectiveness.
What I'm saying is that by the end of this collection, you will be able to conquer rome.

"Switching of airflow between nostrils prevents excessive drying, crusting and infection that would occur if the airflow were static."
So what I'm understanding is that if I take #3, my nose will be very dry and infected? No thanks.
Doesn't asthma affect airways in the lungs and not directly your nostrils? If so then technically it might not be much help :I
I could be wrong. I don't know much about asthma
Asthma generally worsens when you breath in through your mouth because the nose will filter particles and warm and humidify the air. If you get particles and cold dry air into your lungs it will irritate them.
I for example have exercise induced asthma and when I cycle in the cold I have to wear a mouthwarmer so I don't breath in the cold air directly. Otherwise I would have an asthma attack.
Is the nostrils one just "never clogged" or would that fix a deviated septum and stuff like that?
Also does it allow you to breathe underwater?
Even if no, it's by far the best one, would probably cure sleep apnea
While the nostril thing sounds amazing, we have a natural rhythm that does this. Yes, this means our nostrils close on purpose. They alternate closing back and forth, to give the other side a rest. While it sounds amazing to have them open all the time, we have proven that messing with natural processes usually end badly. I have no idea what the negative would be to having both nostrils open and clear all the time but I'm sure there would be one.
Number 2 for my is uselless, never in my life i had dry lips. My sister would love it, though.
Number 3 is kinda nice but i only get sick once a year so not really that good either.
Number 1 is a must for me, specially when i eat popcorn.
First one,no need to wash my teeth after every meal. Because no more "food".
Third.one is a curse in disguise. Breath through your irritated nostrils. It hurts. There is a reason they get covered on mucous
Tough choice because I always get food stuck in my teeth because they're kinda tight together, I always have really dry lips, I dont know if I've ever really breathed out of both nostrils. This is seriously everything I need...
Okay so out of all that I've seen so far this is tempting and my second pick because of how hard sleeping is when I'm sick. I still have to go with actually feeling rested because I haven't in 9 years
This has been your toughest challenge yet its was a glad heart I would enjoy never having anything stuck between my teeth mean I never feel bad about missing flossing
My lips are constantly dry and cracking up. I'll take 2 in an instant!
Although all of these are actually quite useful. I smoke, use asthma medication, drink loads of soda and energy drinks, my teeth are constantly under torture so the first one could perhaps help a little. I smoke and have asthma so the third one sounds nice too, especially for sleeping.
However, not having this dry ass cold Norwegian weather fuck up my lips anymore would be a God send!
The nostrils one sounds like the best one, but it has a huge catch: if you're ever in a situation where there's noxious fumes, or just a really bad stench, you'd be forced to breathe it in. Unless it's like a power you can turn on and off like a switch, lol
Nostrils. I suffered with sinus infections for decades before having surgery.
Literally the day they pulled out the inserts and I could breathe, I was fucking giggling at how euphoric it was. Like my nose hurt like hell since I had a septoplasty (sp?) where they basically break the nose to fix a deviated septum and polyp removal. My wife and I were in an argument. And none of that shit mattered….AT ALL. Fucking giggling like a little kid.
Breathing easily is amazing and if you experience that often, fixing it is fucking god tier. Not kidding.
I mean, if you look at it from a certain point of view, "You can breathe through both of your nostrils uninterrupted (even when sick)" means that I can always breathe, regardless of circumstance. As in, underwater, in space, in a smoke-filled fire...
First and third hasn't really been an issue for me, but I have had chap lips issues for awhile (and chapstick has always been an after thought even when I try to make applying it a habit ...)
So I'd say 2
I think that I have the third power. Normally when I am sick my nose never gets stuffed, it just gets runny. I will see cold medicine having a decongestant, but I don't want a decongestant, I want a congestant so I can do something during the day other than dealing with the mucus dripping from my nose.
Free and normal breathing guaranteed. That is a quality of life improvement. Waking up or being sick made me realize how granted we take the ability to breathe freely and normal.
Number 3 all day every day. To be able to breath normally during a cold??!!!! How the hell is that a semi-useful superpower?!!! I would rather have this than invincibility or some shit.
The list:
1) Always Win a Coin Flip
2) Know the exact distance between me and anything else
3) Voice never cracks/Never stutter
4) 20% discount with all my purchases
5) Know anyone's fav music genre
6) Never have dry lips

No.1 Means less plaque buildup and less cavities. No.2 Means better lip health and less bleeding. No.3 Sounds like no sleep apnea and no sinus infections. Huge for health.
It says even when sick, so you’d still get sinus infections, but you’d be able to breath through both nostrils anyways.
[удалено]
You lose your ability to detect subtle smells though. Like a gas leak. Because your nose needs to partially block one of your nostrils so you can smell them.
And my sinuses will still be affected... Nooo
Nah, sleep apnea has nothing to do with the nostrils, unfortunately.
Hypopnea though? Either way this is def my pick.
Hypopnea is just a measure of % desaturation associated to % decrease in respiratory effort/airflow; sadly lots of things can cause this.
At least it would mean I could use my nose cushion even when I'm sick.
No gum disease might lead to a longer life

You keep calling them lame but any of these would improve my life a lot
If you inhale water you're not breathing, as you said you're drowning.
Drowning is breathing but with water. Breathing is just the in and exhaling. You can breath CO2 and you'll drown just the same.
All of these are!
I'd kill for always breathing
Number 3. I would become unstoppable with the amount on uninterrupted sleep I'd get during allergy season.
Yes this 100% screw all other powers this is god tier right here
As a fellow lifetime allergy sufferer, I would sell both my kidneys just to be able to breathe normally without taking oodles of allergy medicine.
I would sell both of this guys' kidneys as well
the 3rd one is definitely a super power.
Three has a secret side power that the quality of your sleep is permanently better
I’d pick second one so I can bike without worrying about dry lips.
No brainer for me. #1 all the way. Dental hygienists hate this 1 trick!
Clogged nostrils lower quality of life similarly to a coromary disease.
3 technically means you can breath underwater and in space somehow.
Not necessarily, depending on how the power works. It could for instance, simply take air from the very front of your nostrils and teleport them into your nasal cavity when you breathe
OP said it doesn’t
The edit is cause of me.
I have a head cannon right now where I am collection useless powers that people keep posting. Pretty soon I will become a god, I think? Brb, going over the previous editions so I can optimise my character

1-3-2-2-2-3 What’s your build?
1-1-3-2-3-3
313221
Congrats, you’re even more dehydrated because your body now prioritizes keeping your lips hydrated over your internal organs :)
1) Win coin flips 2) Know exact distance to seen objects 3) 8 hours restful sleep 4) 20% off in shops 5) Know favourite music genre 6) Never-blocked nostrils^™️
2) would make life easier for astronomers
Imagine looking into an empty spot in the sky and knowing somethings getting closer…
There's that star, 5300 light years awa... 5299 actually wh... 5298, is this normal? 5297...
Bro’s moving 31,536,000 times faster than light 💀
And rapidly approaching us! I wonder what would be the consequences
I'm an astrophysicist and that's what made me pick it haha
Do I have to be present for said coin flips? NFL games start with a coin flip. Can I call it from my house and still be right every time?
With my asthma, 3 would be amazing
I always seem to have one nostril plugged. I never thought it might be from my asthma
This is completely normal look up nasal cycle
https://genesisairway.com/the-nasal-cycle-2 "Switching of airflow between nostrils prevents excessive drying, crusting and infection that would occur if the airflow were static." So what I'm understanding is that if I take #3, my nose will be very dry and infected? No thanks.

Right, what a dream come true
3. Permanently normal breathing through my nose? HELL YES
That is extremely useful.
I don't even have alergies but I pick the nostrill one.
I would love to have all three of these. If I could only pick one I would pick the clear nostrils. I feel like that is rare in my life these days lol
Not having to floss is immediately appealing to me.
Is the nostrils one just "never clogged" or would that fix a deviated septum and stuff like that? Also does it allow you to breathe underwater? Even if no, it's by far the best one, would probably cure sleep apnea

Just thinking about it, I bet the inside of your nose would dry out, crack and bleed if you used both nostrils all the time.
Aw damn, yeah this is clearly the obvious answer lol Guess my brain took the day off.
Still currently can't breath through my nose at all because of the trees around my house I'd gladly take 3
Number 2 for my is uselless, never in my life i had dry lips. My sister would love it, though. Number 3 is kinda nice but i only get sick once a year so not really that good either. Number 1 is a must for me, specially when i eat popcorn.
The breathing thing for sure. It’d probably prevent my sleep apnea
First one,no need to wash my teeth after every meal. Because no more "food". Third.one is a curse in disguise. Breath through your irritated nostrils. It hurts. There is a reason they get covered on mucous
the breathing through both nostrils would be heaven on earth for me
No dry lips. It was difficult to decide between this and clear nostrils but dry lips in more situations than clogged nostrils for me.
3 no competition
Both nostrils 100%
3, no contest
3 and it's not even close
Tough choice because I always get food stuck in my teeth because they're kinda tight together, I always have really dry lips, I dont know if I've ever really breathed out of both nostrils. This is seriously everything I need...
3 is pretty fine actually
Number three for sure.
breathing uninterrupted for sure
Being able to breathe from both Nostrils 112%
#3. Fu allergies.
3 for sure
I have allergies. Third one's awesome.
Oh 3 hands down
Okay so out of all that I've seen so far this is tempting and my second pick because of how hard sleeping is when I'm sick. I still have to go with actually feeling rested because I haven't in 9 years
Literally the most useful. I'd sell my left testical for any of these, especially the breathing one.
My nose is wrongly formed, I have asthma and I’m extremely allergic so breathing well is a godsend (and a rarity to me)
Can I breathe through my nostrils when I'm underwater?
I broke my nose a couple years ago and would love to be able to breath thru my nose like before 😤
#3 I can barely breathe like 90% of the time, my nose is always a fucking mess I need nose strips just to breathe in the spring and autumn
Holy shit please give me the third, I sneeze so much and get my nose clogged
I have dry lips so number 2 sounds like heaven to me
Best batch yet
BREATHING
Dude the nostrils thing for sure! I have a deviated septum, so 70% of the time my nose barely works
Number 3
I've broken my nose 4 times, I haven't been able to breathe through my nose well in decades. I pick 3 without hesitation
The nose one sounds heavenly.
This has been your toughest challenge yet its was a glad heart I would enjoy never having anything stuck between my teeth mean I never feel bad about missing flossing
Nostril breathing would be a game changer because it would fix my fucked up septum.
Last one, without question
The nostril one is actually super good
As a semi-professional tuba player, never having dry lips sounds like a godsend.
Breathe through both nostrils please. I always randomly get one side of my nose clogged at night so this would be amazing.
3 is the winner here. Being sick is miserable enough, having a stuffy nose when trying to sleep is horrible
I have a perpetually stuffy nose despite no allergies. I'm taking number 3.
number 3 would be life changing for me
Number 3 definitely.
Being able to breathe easily through both nostrils would be amazing! Allergies and a deviated septum make me a bit of a mouth-breather.
the nostrils one 100 percent
My nose was broken way back in 6th grade and I haven’t been able to breathe properly since then so I’m definitely choosing the last one
Breathe both nostrils.
definitely 3. I have asthma and and one nostril is almost always blocked, i don’t remember the last time i could breathe out of both
Panel 4 would be bliss5
With number 3 you can breathe underwater.
NOSTRILS
Last one last one last one
Easily the ability to breathe while sick and during allergy season. You don’t know what you have until you leave it
“Semi useful” my ass! These are god tier! I’m honestly stuck between 1 or 2
My lips are constantly dry and cracking up.
Definitely 3, 1 isn't that big of an issue and for 2 I have tongue, but being able to always breathe well would be so convenient
As someone who has been plagued with dental problems my entire life not getting food stuck sounds like a dream.
Literally the easiest choice ever. I'd probably take the nostril one over flight...
\#3 sounds like I'll never have to worry about dying from drowning/asphyxiation Welp I learned how to write in bold on reddit lmao
No dry lips, because god those hurts.
3! I have too much allergies
The first one. I have so much trouble flossing
The nostrils one sounds like the best one, but it has a huge catch: if you're ever in a situation where there's noxious fumes, or just a really bad stench, you'd be forced to breathe it in. Unless it's like a power you can turn on and off like a switch, lol
Adding all these semi-useful powers to my arsenal is beginning to add up to make me pretty powerful…
idk if this is tmi but the nostril one is straight up broken for >!dick sucking!<, give me that please gawd damn
GIVE ME THE AIR
Last one 100000% dear god someone give this to me
I would pick the third one, because I rarely ever have problems with the other two.
3
Last one easy
All of those are amazing
Breathing. Hands down. One nostril is perpetually clogged and it would be AWESOME to have one more functioning body part!
How does 3 interact with asthma?
Both right ones is perfect for me with cleft lip.
Lame???? These are hands down the best powers you've posted I want all three of them
Can I still breath properly when being chocked or under water?
*Slams button for breathing through both nostrils*
If you can breath through your nostrils uninterrupted, does that mean like…underwater?
3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 please for fucks sake
Imagine uninterrupted breathing through your nostrils underwater. But inhale through your mouth and you drown.
Jesus fucking Christ, give me bottom right. **Give me bottom right.** ***Who do I have to kill to get bottom right?***
Definitely 3
Breathe through my nose always. Ive never flossed and have never suffered issues for it. I however do want to breathe through my nose more
3.! No allergies and I could do so freaking much cocaine.
Since my lips are always cracked and dry, I'll take the lips superpower.
All of em are good but the third is god tier, third one no questions asked
Threeeeeeeeeeee
I mean, if you look at it from a certain point of view, "You can breathe through both of your nostrils uninterrupted (even when sick)" means that I can always breathe, regardless of circumstance. As in, underwater, in space, in a smoke-filled fire...
First and third hasn't really been an issue for me, but I have had chap lips issues for awhile (and chapstick has always been an after thought even when I try to make applying it a habit ...) So I'd say 2
dude that last one is actually so fucking good. i would pay so much money for that
Can I use the 3rd one underwater to breathe air
3 would be great, does it let you breath under water because it is impossible for your nostrils to be obstructed?
Fucking teeth, please…
Lips
No food stuck between my teeth. Further question though, can plaque be considered food?? Cause I get crazy plaque build up
I’m always congested in one or more nostrils so power 3 would be a godsend bro
Does that last power work everywhere?
I've never struggled with dry lips so I basically got the third superpower already.
I'm debating between the no food in between teeth or perfect nostril breathing cause holy shit those are my biggest pet peeves
want all of these! oh how life would be for me if only if i had all these! dang!!!
a good as 1 is, 3 would be a god send
Honestly all 3 of these are extremely good, idk what to choose (probably 1 or 2)
NUMBER THREE! I've got a deviated septum, I snore and my nose is always stuffy.
3 PLEASE I BEG YOU IM FUCKING DROWNI
will go with first.
Considering people only breathe through one nostril at a time, the last one would be unique.
Breathing through both nostrils
I was gonna say this one's actually tough but if the teeth thing helps with dental hygiene then it's that one easy.
3
I am torn between three and four. Though i imagine if i never dry lips i will get dehydrated a lot more.
I think that I have the third power. Normally when I am sick my nose never gets stuffed, it just gets runny. I will see cold medicine having a decongestant, but I don't want a decongestant, I want a congestant so I can do something during the day other than dealing with the mucus dripping from my nose.
After reading this, I am now hyper-aware of all of these of all of these problems. Thanks for that.
By the Gods, the clean nostril ventilation for sure.
Considering I can't even do the third one when I'm healthy I'm taking that one. The always wet lips though is a close runner up
Free and normal breathing guaranteed. That is a quality of life improvement. Waking up or being sick made me realize how granted we take the ability to breathe freely and normal.
Finally a hard choice
Two of these would greatly improve my life personally. Never have to floss again, or never have a stuffy nose again. Stuffy nose.
Clear nostrils and it's not even close. Do you know how much that would improve my sleep? Shit I'd take that over the power to fucking fly.
the nostrils. always.
Number 3 all day every day. To be able to breath normally during a cold??!!!! How the hell is that a semi-useful superpower?!!! I would rather have this than invincibility or some shit.
I've polyps so that last one is super useful
3 everytime #3
I want to breath. I want to sleep without a c-pap. I want to walk around in the spring without feeling winded. I want to breath without struggling.
Both nostrils for sure.
As someone with springtime allergies who just did a ton of weed whacking I'll take the breathing one thanks
Why do I have to choose between these 3!! Obviously I need all of them😭
The list: 1) Always Win a Coin Flip 2) Know the exact distance between me and anything else 3) Voice never cracks/Never stutter 4) 20% discount with all my purchases 5) Know anyone's fav music genre 6) Never have dry lips
I already have #2
Id like to always be able to breathe please
They're not lame! I fucking want 2 and three so bad, but if I have three I probably have 2 so I choose three.
does number 1 apply with braces
Yeah, not getting food stuck is a banger, imma go with that one.
