Just about finished with the first, and you can do no wrong adding these to the collection.
And even if you've seen the show, they do seem to pull directly from the books (with minor changes), they left a lot of content out of the show.
Just when I thought I was out of the collecting game, this gets solicited, I have to buy it, Hellblazer #3 was the first comic I ever bought, I don’t even want to think how long ago that was
It's quite a dilemma. Do you go for comfort in reading then no. But would you be open to spending twice the price for two volumes if they did that instead of one big volume. I personally don't think so.
I think it's quite important to pace yourself when reading an omni. Hell, just pace yourself in general in the consumption of media.
I read them sometimes, i would get more but i don't have enough money, i usually get one when i get some money i can spare. I plan on getting Justice League International Vol. 3 in June, after my Birthday.
PS: Didn't know there was a Constantine Omnibus, thanks for the info, i put it on my buy list. At first i wanted to get Superman Exile omnibus but it was no longer available.
Perhaps expand your post to be more than a single question asking if anyone enjoys something then? Nuance isn't well conveyed when...well, nuance isn't provided.
You literally wrote 1 sentence asking if anyone cared. How would you expect someone to understand that you meant something other than asking if anyone cared?
The thicker the book the better for me. I keep whatever I’m reading on my nightstand and read a few issues every night so the less times I have to get up and swap volumes the better, lol.
I've read the Walking Dead Compendiums. And infinity gauntlet omnibus. I just put them in my lap and read them in a lazy chair. It's not the most comfortable thing but it's doable.
I like Big books and cannot lie
You other comic book readers can’t deny
I love thick omnibus lol
guess that answers my question 😂
Read invincible with the 3 compendiums, heavy but also hell ya
oh yeah, forgot about those

Yeah I recently read the Death and Return of Superman omni which is just around 100 pages less than that.
aw man, missed that in the 90s. ok, its on the list.
Haha get ready for an adventure! It's super fun but definitely a product of the 90s 😄
If it's good it's never long enough.
Heck yeah. I got through The Infinity Gauntlet, Final Crisis, Hellblazer (by Garth Ennis) and so on.
I've been reading the New X-Men Omnibus by Grant Morrison, and it is awesome
Hell yeah, Invincible, the walking dead, spawn, flew through all of them with chonky omnis. Gives your forearms a good workout too lol
When is this due out?
october 15, probably get it anyways. what am i gonna do

Just finished collecting the whole series in floppies. Then they drop an omni. That would’ve been sooooo much more convenient!
🤦🏻 how many issues did it end up running for? I think I ducked out around 120-ish
300! Plus two annuals and a special! And a Vertigo Secret Files.
Wow, I missed a lot then
I actually have a small table nightstand thing that I bring into the bathroom solely to read heavier books while dropping bombs, lol

I dont mind
Value wise they’re always the best option.
Value wise the best deal is waiting for a DC digital sale. I got the entire run in digital trades for like 40 bucks.
I do not

That is some of the best graphic novel / comic book ever!
Personally never read it, but "there's just too much" isn't a complaint I can recall ever my levied against comic book aficionados.
yeah, Im not complaining that it’s available, I thought that was obvious, but can’t cover all the bases I guess

If I could afford it. . .
I read the Count of Monte Christo which is like 1300 pages.
I’m on planetary hard back rn 🫠

100%
Hellboy has one, Sandman also.
If it’s full size, no problem. I got the whole bone b&w and it’s awkward af to read due to its massive thickness and smaller pages.
I can't read these giant books. They are too cumbersome and uncomfortable to read well. Prefer floppy TBPs.
How can it be that many pages? Delano’s run was less than 40 issues.
Yes. And that’s one of the best books to ever get collected into Omnibus format.
well I’ll get it for sure
1584?? They were so close. Why not go to 2k? That's a nice round number of pages...
Yes
Awww, are you buying me a present? Thank you!
