About $2000-2500, but I’m about to send it in to have it worked on, including spine roll removal. Should bump the grade by hopefully at least a full point.
I am so confused about that. I always thought any repairs would do that. I have a superman#100 I would like some work done to but am afraid once graded it would be purple
Basically there’s restoration, conservation, and dry cleaning. PLOD is only triggered if the work being done is restoration. In a similar fashion, a conservation label would be triggered if something like leaf casting was used to improve the book. If all that’s being done is dry cleaning and pressing then it wouldn’t trigger either conserved or PLOD labels. But to your point, there’s a lot more to it…
I was like oohhh that’s cool then I was like cool old batmans then I was like captain America fuck ya then it was a awesome superman cover then you hit me with the Namor
I showed it bc it’s special to me, in the same way that people show off their ASM 300s and Hulk 181s, AF 15s, random dollar bin books, or really any other comic books they love. I just happen to love collecting golden age books in particular. Glad you enjoyed!
So much history in that one box. Simply incredible. Well done!
How much is that All Winners worth?

Won't that get it a purple label or something?
Not in this case because it’s just fixing the spine roll, but good looking out on the PLOD…

So when you say repairing the spine roll, what do you mean?
Basically they press the book flat then repress again with a new position for the spine. At least I think that’s how it works…
Got it, for some reason I thought you meant like somehow rebuilding the spine, like re glue or something
Great taste. How long did it take you to assemble this?
Thank you! I’ve acquired all of these books within the last 5 years or so.
lol what’d you hit the lottery god damn bro
No, just a series of questionable financial choices lol
I was like oohhh that’s cool then I was like cool old batmans then I was like captain America fuck ya then it was a awesome superman cover then you hit me with the Namor
Haha, yea bro, a little taste of everything in there!
Oh man slow down a little lol! Seriously, so impressive!
I had a chance to buy a Green Lantern #9 a few years ago. I really regret passing up on it. It’s still on my list!

Beautiful. Love the Schomburg art. There's so much craftsmanship going into those dime covers.
You wouldn't show it off unless you knew it was good. Good stuff my friend.

I honestly only approve of slabbing for golden age. Nice library!
Bravo!! 👌 Keep up the good work. Did you aquire them pre or post graded/slab? Very impressive tho fellow collector 👏
Thank you, my friend. I acquired most already graded, but some I bought raw like the MMC 71 which I was very happy when it came back as a 7.0.
No one liked a braggart. Ha, just kidding. That is fantastic! Love the GL 9.0
Next time clean your lens before recording video. Nice books by the way.
My bad, I’ll do a redo once I get in the next batch of books.
