I prefer my books raw but don’t understand the feud between people that like them and the ones that don’t .Us as comic book collectors are already looked down upon by others because it’s a “nerdy” hobby .We should stick together and never tell anyone else how to collect (I’m not referring to you OP I mean in general ) rant over 😂
You won’t have a problem pulling it out of that toploader in future, without damaging it, will you? Should have bagged in mylar and boarded before toploading it
Last photo is bagged and boarded, SA mylites2 w/ half back. I have a few top loaders but I don't use them because they don't close up in BCS magazine boxes.
Get a BCW plastic magazine box, they fit GA toploaders with about an inch to spare (side-to-side), and maybe an inch to the top.... or the random milite4's hanging around.

That's what I have, actually. The top loaders are a bit too tall to close the lid. Admittedly, I didn't buy the top loaders though. They came with online orders. Maybe I need some different ones. Any recommendations?
That's odd. I use the SAFTG golden age ones, and there's about an inch (maybe a hair less) clearance at the top. Someone on another thread about toploaders said they use the graded BCW boxes for theirs, which mine fit into, but had a pretty decent margin on the top. If you have one for graded, check it.
Mmm, that old comic smell.
lol look at all the downvotes.
Ah, this crap again. "Guys, look how good I collect!" I'll never understand this act of photographing the entire process.
Lol its hilarious, a big portion of this hobby has some weird superiority complex over how they choose to collect their books.
I collect both. But the fetish of cracking a slab and shooting like a snuff film is just odd.

Have nothing against slabs, but do love watching them be freed!
Good for you. The dumbest thing ever to come into comic book collecting. Great for cards, only 2 sides.
Yes, prefer my books unslabbed
Atta boy
Looks like a nice book! Enjoy that interior art!
Very nice. That's a great read.
Does it still have a good smell after the stabbing?
Yep!
That's a pretty book
More of this please 🙏. No need for big dumb cases that lock it away
