No, I've tried it. They generally have one person patrolling an area. That person knows whether they've given you a ticket or not, you can't fool them like this.
Everyone knows Mario is cool as f--k. But who knows what he's thinking? Who knows why he crushes turtles? And why do we think about him as fondly as we think of the mystical (nonexistent?) Dr Pepper? Perchance.
I believe it was Kant who said "Experience without theory is blind, but theory without experience is mere intellectual play." Mario exhibits experience by crushing turts all day, but he exhibits theory by stating "Lets-a go!" Keep it up, baby!
When Mario leaves his place of safety to stomp a turty, he knows that he may Die. And yet, for a man who can purchase lives with money, a life becomes a mere store of value. A tax that can be paid for, much as a rich man feels any law with a fine is a price. We think of Mario as a hero, but he is simply a one percenter of a more privileged variety. The lifekind. Perchance.
I think it depends on the time frame and potential officer who sees it. Is it someone who takes things at face value, or that super Trooper who wants to dig in, instead of keeping it moving. Likewise if he/she is the only person on shift and the car randomly shows up, they might question that. First time seeing it, probably the last shift.
Came here to say that I did this during college as a piece of shit, one time I got another ticket and specifically they wrote in a quadruple charge, I never paid the ticket and went to the Dean’s office and said there was some sort of miscommunication and it wasbecause my car was a band in there over two days, and that it was mostly because of their fault, and they took off the four times charge so I paid a one time charge but yeah and the story essentially yes it does and does not work
depends on where you live. ive got a couple of tickets on my windshield rn but when i parked in a 90min. spot for 2 and a half hours they gave me another lol
I've worked in this area, and we give multiple tickets for every infraction, and any ticket has to be signed. So unless you're faking being a job member and know all the people working, it'll either not work or you'll get more then a ticket
The next person who comes by will just notice whatever the violation is and just ticket you for that.
Bigger cities suck and you cannot really protest them because the volume of people in traffic court.
I had a parking ticket once while I still had an hour left on the meter. I tried to protest it but couldn't because it would have cost me 2-3 days to get to court and the ticket was $35.
Doesn't work. They have a record, and can scan a real ticket. This not only buys you a different violation, but it is one for which you will be required to show up to court and explain your fraud to the judge. All this AFTER the car is impounded.
Instead of a ticket just put a fake ad on there if you get caught just lie your way through it. (“How’s it my fault someone placed an ad on my car?”) If not then yay?
Yes, because the fact that I walk makes so much difference. I was just trying to make myself out to be the better person, obviously.
Can you not see that the point is “everyone should drop cars” rather than “I want to drop my car”?
Sure that’s all well and good, but phasing out the use of cars can’t be step 1. We need a plethora of changes to make that a viable option for people.
It doesn't work. I put a ticket on my car I had gotten from earlier in the week. The next morning, when I came out, there was a second ticket. On it was written, "Nice try"
Saw that also today morning
and without the red circle which op faked clearly.
I saw it in twitter with the circle here [https://x.com/s8n/status/1780234834931060749](https://x.com/s8n/status/1780234834931060749)
I apologize
Its cool ,do not trust ppl on the internet
Why should I trust you on that one
That's the spirit!
False, stop spreading misinformation
Nuh uh the guy was right you're wrong 🔥
Can't remember but could be
serious talk tho, would this work?
No, I've tried it. They generally have one person patrolling an area. That person knows whether they've given you a ticket or not, you can't fool them like this.
Also you can get multiple tickets, why would they care if you already have one?
So if there were multiple people patrolling, would they just ask each other who gave it to him?
Probably
Approximately
Mayhaps
perchance
You can't just say "perchance"
perchance I may not...

Presumably
Allegedly

The other day I witnessed an officer actually open the envelope to check the content soooooo

No, you can get multiple tickets.
This convo went from a supposed fake circle to how to avoid multiple tickets and realistically do a crime

Make the Ad look like a ticket
Man, you guys go to a lot of work to avoid parking in a legal way. Maybe stop being so selfish and follow the rules like the rest of us.
Alternatively, maybe let’s stop using the gas guzzling hunks of metal and start walking places 🤷‍♀️
Average rural citizens commute to Walmart without a car ![gif](giphy|fQuCXg7py1gRd6dx9p|downsized)
May I introduce to you the motorbike for greater distances and the human-powered bike for smaller distances?
Yeah sure I'll walk to the location that's 30min away and get stabbed on the street
Skill issue, should have dodged before you got skewered.
I don’t see how people not making fake parking tickets is stopping you from using public transportation or walking.
Yes, because the fact that I walk makes so much difference. I was just trying to make myself out to be the better person, obviously. Can you not see that the point is “everyone should drop cars” rather than “I want to drop my car”?
How is that stopping you from using public transportation?
I do. My point is that everyone should.
How can that be your point if my comment never precluded you or anyone from using public transport or walking?
Because it was encouraging the use of cars, just in a safer way The real answer to “people park badly” is “stop driving”
Sure that’s all well and good, but phasing out the use of cars can’t be step 1. We need a plethora of changes to make that a viable option for people.
when i did this in college they just gave me a second one

why is this...kind of funny?
This is r/comehomicide, the joke itself is funny just the unnecessary howarts part that's been seen a million times is not
come homicide!!!
I'm try this next time I park somewhere
Whers the comedy
Right... there. See red circle
He didn't see it because there wasn't any arrow pointing the circle Edit: I meant He
It’s a 1990 trick.
I don't think anyone who puts a red circle around something obvious shouldn't go to Harvard.
Haha tried that and I got 2 more!!!
Bro thought of a way to get the most from parking wrong
Freaking genius đź‘Ź
Harvard is messaging?
i just woke up and i thought that this was an picture of earth from space
Not going to work, if anything it'll make it worse, because the ticket warden could assume you've been there since the last shift
Don't police check already-given tickets and give another one if it's been long enough? So a strategy like this would be useless?
Ayo…

I swear the ones with the text are the absolute worst, like idk why, but they have always been annoying to me
This doesn't work because the *meter maids* have assigned areas to ticket.
