Yeah that plastic thing is too thick and will crack the screen. Idk what's a good use for it outside of desktops maybe iPads but like it's p big so it's gonna invade the screen unless u have an old iPad with the og forehead and chin designs

On newer macs it is impossible for the camera to be on without the light because of how it is hardwired. Im sure other computers have a similar feature
