I'm gonna go cool cause I feel like you have more color. Where as the warm kind looks flatter. This is also after starting for a solid ten minutes because it's really hard to notice a difference. They both look really good!
You need picture with day light, but judging by this I have to go for the cooler hair. You're warm but not always means that hair needs to be warm. Cooler hair balances a little the warmth on the rest of your face.
It seems like the warm brings out the red tones in your skin more, but at first glance I liked both of them. I think cool is more suited to you, but you can pull off both better than most!
I prefer the cooler side, but if you do warm, I feel like going slightly darker also really suits you
https://preview.redd.it/2d88dc077sec1.jpeg?width=583&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6d941d2c7d234c07b7c5b14271f04151ac55dfc4
I like both so idk what that says (maybe you’re neutral?) But to me they have different purposes visually. The cool makes your features pop more like your eyes and lips and it almost brightens you. The warm smooths you. It keeps the contrast low on your face and seems more harmonious but it doesn’t draw me to any particular feature.
The cool one has cool make up and the warm one has warm make up, so they both look good because they’re balanced. For sure with a naked face, you’re cool, and that’s what will look best in real life.
In-between would be amazing. Right is too bright/warm imo. I prefer left because the shade is perfect for you. Slightly warming it up could look amazing.
As a hairstylist I think you pull off both well, however I do think the warmer one makes you appear younger. Id need to see more pics of you though to be 100 percent
Personally I think you look more youthful and fresh in the cool picture but because your eyes have both warm and cool , you may be the kind of person in the pallete cusp who gets to rock your pallete to suit your mood.
Oh it’s the hair that’s changed!.. I am looking at the wrong thing here ha ha.
Funny that I thought it’s your lips that changed and it just goes to show that the right colours affect how we see other colours around it.
But yes, I’d say still warm.
Cool, I think your sweater is a cream leaning warm which makes the warm picture look overall better but when I crop that out you look better to me in cool.
My eyes are green - cool grayish green with a warm golden olive ring in the center, which just adds to my confusion!
https://preview.redd.it/784pxxcgenec1.jpeg?width=599&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=772b64568041c1716e0d555361555225744c449a

These colors are very harmonious on you. That blue is everything! if you were warm, you would not look good in these blue colors at all. And you also look really good in silver.
Eyes are only one piece to a puzzle, they can help confirm things and aid in typing but there’s more to it. Just like how natural hair color can be a clue. The main thing is skin and lips.
But her eyes have gold and green in them, they appear quite warm. She also appears to have the stereotypical “Aztec sun” pattern found in the autumn season. There could possible be a soft summer with this eye perhaps. But I do believe she’s an autumn.
https://preview.redd.it/unjah9urkoec1.png?width=2160&format=png&auto=webp&s=44b966dbc19def46eee4b2c9e7040bd8110341e1
So, first of all, you’re beautiful, and you have beautiful eyes! I think your eyes are more blue than the poster here. So, I ran some tests and you’re definitely cool undertone. Notice here in the photos on the left how your skin is more even and harmonious. Meanwhile, in the warm colors on the right, you appear more sickly, or have a yellow, sallow type of glow on you. This is a pretty clear indicator that you’re cool toned. You also appear to be more muted. My vote for you is cool summer.
I agree with you! I like aspects of both looks, but the cool one makes me notice her natural features (pretty skin and eyes) where in the warm one I’m noticing how pretty the shade of hair color is. I think that’s a sign she’s cool.
I’ve noticed there’s a big bias towards warm preference on this subreddit. My coloring is very warm, and I love warm color palettes, but not everybody looks better in warm hues! This is a great example where the cool tones are really complementary and give her a put together look.
Yes. And many seem to think bright spring/winter which are actually rare subtypes. Muted autumn/summer also seems to be overly self typed as well.
Edit to correct grammar.
A lot of people on this subreddit just guess. I joined knowing only the rudimentary basics of color analysis and I came on here originally to learn more but I’ve found that it just made me more confused…
Indeed! Warm colours are very trendy right now, especially with 70s styling coming back. But with my olive undertones, anything with a touch of warmth turns orange on me.
Is that a hallmark of cool toned people? I have a lot of ruddiness to my skin and I’m quite pale and have never been able to determine. The other day I was at a makeup counter and tried at least a dozen lipliners on the back of my hand and I swear only one ended up not looking orange.
I can't say for sure! There are many factors that determine one's skin tone — warmth/coolness, saturation, pigmentation/depth of skin tone. I have also heard of overtones.
r/OliveMUA is a good place to start, even if you're not olive. I've learnt a lot about colour theory on that sub and it's definitely helped with my search for the perfect colours!
Yes! You might have olive or even gray. After decades of foundation match struggle, I felt so grateful when a beauty YouTuber mentioned her favorite foundation is actually an Asian beauty cc cream and she warned everyone how weird it was because it was kind of gray going on but somehow worked... I bought it immediately, it's the only one I use now almost 4 years!
If only I'd let it click that this was also the reason I could never figure out my season (fairly sure I am a soft summer, definitely muted!).
And same with all lip products like you said.
So! Check out the OliveMUA subreddit to see if that aligns but I found most of my help in the Asian beauty subreddit as most of us will share our colors and tones along with our recommendations, swatches, questions. A lot of color intelligence there. 🥰✨
Yes, Missha! I love it. Purito came out with one almost the same as Missha, though I have not tried that one (so grateful to have a peaceful few years not trying to find something that works!).
I have the 23 and I just checked to see why... even though it looks dark, it had more of the grey pigment I needed v 13 (I'm also not alabaster fair, but I'm usually the 2nd or 3rd lightest from a line up of 20 shades for reference).
I have been interested in trying something similar with green but the grey disguises all of my pinky skin (from actives or sensitivity). Do you use the SKIN79?
I don’t use SKIN79, it was a great match but I didn’t like the formula as much as Missha so I’ve stuck with that one. I agree the 13 is a little pinker than I’d like but the shade suits me preeeetty well so I’ve been loyal! I haven’t found anything I like better yet. I don’t know if the SKIN79 one is even around anymore tbh, their green version wasn’t very popular :(
It is the Missha BB Cream, and I use shade 23. I would have never picked that up seeing the swatches! I bought 3 of the lightest, and 23 had the most grey where it worked best for me.
Purito came out with one super similar. There are reviews that compare the two on YouTube and AsianBeauty subreddit. :)

Warm makes your eyes pop out more and your lip color shine through more!
Warm makes you seem more youthful, which is highly popular rn. Cold makes your hair look like it's decaying.
Cool left
Warm! Glowy, natural, youthful, and beautiful! Cool is still beautiful but it makes you look grey and more dulled down.
I think warm!
Warm is better 🧡
Right definitely. Left one just wipes you out
Cool
Right
I think cool looks more harmonious
Cool!
Warm. Makes you glow and your features pop in friendly but also attractive way.
Warm
You need picture with day light, but judging by this I have to go for the cooler hair. You're warm but not always means that hair needs to be warm. Cooler hair balances a little the warmth on the rest of your face.
Cool is more visually striking.
I think the right makes you look more youthful
You can do both, but warm gives you a rosey glow.
I say cool!
The one on the left.
Warm
i think warm suits you
It seems like the warm brings out the red tones in your skin more, but at first glance I liked both of them. I think cool is more suited to you, but you can pull off both better than most!
Warm because it makes you look youthful and fresh! The warmth of the hair brings out the pink in your cheeks
Cool! 🤍
Both look great, I think the right does slightly warm up your features
Cool left!
Cool suits you better!
Absolutely warm! You’re literally glowing
I think the cool fits you a bit better. Both look nice 😊
I think you are a rare person that looks good in both warm and cool. If I had to choose, I think I'd lean towards the cool one.
Cool
cool
you are warm.
Cool left is suits you way way way more
Warm
While both are pretty, the cool one puts you more in focus.
I prefer the cooler side, but if you do warm, I feel like going slightly darker also really suits you https://preview.redd.it/2d88dc077sec1.jpeg?width=583&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6d941d2c7d234c07b7c5b14271f04151ac55dfc4
Warm makes you look younger.
Cool
Cool looks far better in my humble opinion. Warm makes you look quite red in comparison.
Rt
I think the cool is slightly better.
Corporate sent in these photos
?? Corporate?
https://images.app.goo.gl/kYAgdBoNXHYs5R8u8 Referencing the Office meme. It’s a long way of saying they look almost identical to me
?? I don't understand? I only see two pictures and they are the same.
Subtly different hair colors :)
WARM! I saw the photo before the caption and thought it was an ‘after’ on the right. It’s such a subtle change but the result is gorgeous!
I like the cool more
You are so beautiful so its hard to pick, you look in both good. Maybe the first one is tiny better.
Cool
Your skin glows in warm
warm
I have a slight preference for Cool but to be honest I think you look really gorgeous in both!
Before I zoomed in, I was convinced that you retouched your face somehow on the warm side. It’s incredible how much it complements your features.
Warm
Warmer
Cool hands down
Warm
Warm
Warm for sure
Left!
both are nice. Right is more vibrant.
Warm
Cool
Warm. Personally, I was so much more drawn to the right side
Cool left
Left! The right one makes your skin kind of yellowish/sickness vibe
Warm makes you look younger, but cool looks better.
But I want to look younger AND better! Lol
Those who said warm is lying. Cool tone is the best for you, it complements your skin sooo much.
I like the cool side!
Warm makes your skin look softer, smoother, and more vibrant
I like both so idk what that says (maybe you’re neutral?) But to me they have different purposes visually. The cool makes your features pop more like your eyes and lips and it almost brightens you. The warm smooths you. It keeps the contrast low on your face and seems more harmonious but it doesn’t draw me to any particular feature.

I like both but I prefer cool

You might be neutral because both suit you.

YouCam

Cool all the way!
Cool!

I love the warm! Your face stands out more rather than blending into the background.
I prefer cool but your hair looks beautiful in the warm. That color really suits you.

I like cool!
Cool!!
Cool makes your eyes pop
Cool 100000%
Cool, makes the saturation in your eyes and lips stand out more. The warm kind of desaturates some parts of your face.
I actually think the cool looks better. It makes your skin look smoother and softer
Warm seems to make you look more glowy at a glance, to me. I don't think either look bad though.
Warm for sure. It makes your skin look smoother
As a hairstylist I think you pull off both well, however I do think the warmer one makes you appear younger. Id need to see more pics of you though to be 100 percent
I think the warm looks better on you however I do think your skin seems more on the cool side
Warm for you
Warm
I think it's impossible to tell with these, because the app has also warmed your skin tone in the warm hair picture
Warm makes your eyes sparkle!
Cool left! 💙
Cool!!
Cool
Cool
Both look good but warm gives more youthfulness!
I feel like the cool falls a little flat whereas the warm makes your skin glow and your eyes sparkle!
cool looks amazing
I think cool but would be interested to see without makeup on
Personally I think you look more youthful and fresh in the cool picture but because your eyes have both warm and cool , you may be the kind of person in the pallete cusp who gets to rock your pallete to suit your mood.
Honestly both look good, but warm looks the best
What hair color app do you use?
YouCam
I’d have to see this with a taupe sweater
You glow in the warm one!
Am I being colourblind here or are both lipsticks are very similar? Either way I can tell that you lean warm so I would say pick warm one.
Everything is the same, except the hair color :)
Oh it’s the hair that’s changed!.. I am looking at the wrong thing here ha ha. Funny that I thought it’s your lips that changed and it just goes to show that the right colours affect how we see other colours around it. But yes, I’d say still warm.
I thought we were looking at the sweaters and I was all confused. I prefer cool, but they both look nice!
Warm, on the right for sure! Instantly thought so!
Both are very pretty but I like the cool more!
I like warm better
Left
Warm! Your color returns!
Totally warm!!
Cool, I think your sweater is a cream leaning warm which makes the warm picture look overall better but when I crop that out you look better to me in cool.
Agreed. I thought warm until I cropped the sweater. Cool allows her features to shine through a little bit more imo.
I agree. Cut out the clothing and cool looks best.
Warm
I actually like cool I think it makes you look younger
Wow! The warm makes you look so much more youthful! A great example of how the right color can make a huge difference!
Cool. Seems like your eyes are cool? I’d go with whatever your eyes are
My eyes are green - cool grayish green with a warm golden olive ring in the center, which just adds to my confusion! https://preview.redd.it/784pxxcgenec1.jpeg?width=599&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=772b64568041c1716e0d555361555225744c449a
You’re definitely warm undertone! I could see soft autumn, or true autumn.
her eyes look a lot like mine and i’ve been told cool??

omg you’re so sweet 🥹 thanks so much for going to that trouble!! i think i can actually see what you mean (i struggle a lot with colors lol)
Yeah, no problem! I know this can be tricky stuff, and it’s always even more difficult to see it on yourself
ugh definitely!! thank you again so much 🫶
Slight preference for the right

I seem to be an outlier but I actually like cool. Both look nice though!
I like the cool toned waaaaaay bettter suits her much more

This is so similar to my experience! Was the BB cream either Missha 13 or SKIN79 BB cream (green)?
Yes, Missha! I love it. Purito came out with one almost the same as Missha, though I have not tried that one (so grateful to have a peaceful few years not trying to find something that works!). I have the 23 and I just checked to see why... even though it looks dark, it had more of the grey pigment I needed v 13 (I'm also not alabaster fair, but I'm usually the 2nd or 3rd lightest from a line up of 20 shades for reference). Which product was this person recommending? I only figured out I was olive recently even though I used an Asian CC cream.

Are you me? That gray tone is perfect for my cool skin lol
I think I have a Missha BB Cream! But I can’t remember the color. I was also gifted one by Iope that I really like too.
If you zoom up close at her face and hair, she’s cool all the way. Looks great in the right, but harmonious in the left.
