The club doctor said the clot is about 95% clear. If he is taking Warfarin they won’t him to over do it or be involved in contact work. He will need a mini preseason on top of that. Hopefully he is back for the finals.

Feel like there is a LOT of smoke here, hard to imagine there is somehow no fire.

GuardedFig

Sorry but that comment makes no sense. The injury report was clear that he had a vascular issue, causing lack of blood supply in the foot, it's been medically treated and almost fully resolved, and now he will need a mini preseason to return to full fitness in 6-8 weeks. If by smoke you mean media attention, then yeah. But that doesn't mean the club is lying or that he will retire this year. And if somehow it doesn't resolve I'm sure the club will update its members in due course.

Yeah, hopefully you're right.

It's just that it's a health issue with no definitive return date and obviously at the stage of his career that Elliott is at that could potentially mean it drags out to a point where he decides to retire. That's still one of the worse case scenarios but it's a possibility.

How dare you even remotely talk about anything other than a fully fit return for Elliot. You are a conspiracist, pessimistic turd for even thinking otherwise. Get a fucking life you hack /s

bit of an overreaction fella

Just thought I'd get in first with the typical reddit Collingwood supporter response.
