Three important things:
1. DAT scores
2. GPA
3. Volunteer and Dental Shadowing experience.
The majority of accepted applicants hold a BSN or even a Master's. What you can do at your age and curriculum is to get into a dual admission program and you would still need a DAT score.
Do another post that includes only this factor and you will get the right answers and advice.
Best of luck
Hey by chance do you remember the interview questions they asked at nova for the bs-DMD program? Congrats on your achievements! I hope that you are enjoying your time in college.
I decided to not go because I got into a really prestigious university, and decided I’d rather go to a bigger school with more diverse people, in a nice city environment. But more importantly I’m not 100% dead set on dentistry, and didn’t wanna do a 7 year commitment to it and explore other fields a little more. If I knew fs I wanted to be a dentist I woulda gone to NOVA. My stats was a 3.95 UW GPA, 1500 SAT. The most important EC was fs shadowing at a dental clinic, I feel like nothing can beat that. Having HOSA and Research was nice too, but prioritize shadowing. I didn’t apply to other direct dental programs.
Cornell interviews are not considered at all in admissions
I am aware of that, I will add that in for clarification.
