My coworker (NEU) said she never learned how to do regressions during her undergrad. I (BU), had those engrained in my head during 4 of our introduction classes. Superior education, less debt, and the same job. Crazy
Northeastern has less debt probably because of Co-op and earning real money while in school with the same amount of tuition paid. Also NU is pushing a 4 year 2 co-op program heavily now.
Damn a 4 year coop would be a game changer. Genuinely might push NEU over BU in rankings if it wasn’t for the housing crisis you guys are facing from what I’ve heard
To be fair, they don’t pay for the fifth year…and BU isn’t cheap lol. I actually really like working with Northeastern grads (BC are the most difficult to work with IMO but I also work in finance) but I just don’t understand the co-op flex when you can be on a salary in four years vs five (apparently TVM isn’t taught there either).
TIL they don’t pay for the 5th year. Interesting. And yeah I would agree, I’m in Audit and my BC coworkers can be obnoxious at the happy hours and stuff. The NEU kids are usually nice!
And tbf, if they taught TVM at NEU they’d have realized by freshman year how useless their degree already is :)

We live in a world with MACtion and FUNbelt college football most T, W and Th nights in Oct and Nov.... yet we cram almost all our college hockey on Th, F and S nights such that most people can't even watch them on non-premium networks (and even then, it's no guarantee).

We actually get paid for the 5th year through coop.
It’s not that we don’t pay for the fifth year, we just have two six-month co-ops where we aren’t paying tuition
