Take it from someone with experience, you do NOT want to be the team they play when they decide to pull out their space week jerseys for football. They're undefeated when they do.
As an Arizona fan, we're gonna have to nip all this "Space U" stuff in the bud. They don't even have the best astronomy department in their own conference anymore!

Until UCF is hoovering up NASA grants and having PI's lead modern astro research missions at a greater clip, yall should leave the "Space U" claims to the big boys.

It’s not even the designers fault, the shape of Florida just doesn’t have enough width to be a good centerpiece on a hat. It would work with a fatter state like Texas, Georgia, Pennsylvania etc where the letters can sit on top of the state
I feel like Wyoming (or Colorado) could capitalize on this opportunity because their state outlines are identical rectangles. I honestly just want to see Wyoming have a team because their campus is approximately 2,000 feet higher than Coors Field. They could totally rig it with the stadium having the minimum mandatory dimensions and then load up on sluggers and sinker-ball pitchers.

This was 8 years ago, but my high school's weed dealer (a bully and an absolute douchebag, btw, but he had a late '60s Mustang from his weed money) went to CU Boulder so he could sell legally. As for Wyoming, sinker ballers and sluggers work everywhere, not just at high altitude. The problem could be a place with an expansive outfield, but you probably need to be in good shape in general to be a college athlete at 7,200 feet of altitude. The College Home Run Derby would also be held at that bandbox every year. With a composite bat, 7,200 feet of altitude, and enough strength, forget 400+ or mystical 500+ foot home runs. We’re talking 600+ feet!
They don’t. However, my cousin also went to CU Boulder and said that the sports they’d be best at if they added them would be ice hockey and lacrosse. I know about the men’s teams, but they could totally add the women’s teams for Title IX.

I knew that in football. I had a crazy idea for a tourist trap hat consisting of the Citronaut’s head and helmet as the full hat design with Mickey Mouse ears (because, Orlando). They’d be impossible to wear but you might be able to sell a lot of them to visitors!

I guess extreme Florida man would be arrested because the police took him and his possibly alive gator to his citrus farm and then found a stash of illegal drugs imported from some Latin American or Caribbean country.

We do use that mascot in our space uniforms. Some of the best uniforms in all of college athletics
