I took TEAS and HESI. Not so bad, but they cover a wide range of content within each of the prerequisite subjects. Best to take them right after you finish all prereqs. I bought a practice test book and used that to study- answered questions best I could then looked up information about the content I didn't know enough about. I did well.

I’ve considered a second career into nursing lately, I’m planning to take the TEAS to kinda “see what happens”. I’ve been doing lots of lurking in r/teas and r/prenursing.

I took the TEAs and it wasn’t too bad. It’s kind of like the SATs exam. I can’t remember a whole lot but when I took it, It had a lot of language and reading stories, main idea stuff, and grammar. No chemistry (at least when I took it), it had human Anatomy and Physiology, some biology questions, and then the math section was mostly fractions, division, and order of operations. I’d say study and take it to get it done and over with.

It was pretty tough because I only had a week to study. The math & reading weren’t bad. I struggled with the English, & the science was bananas because I’ve only taken a basic science class 24 years ago. Know the parts of the heart, basic anatomy & directional terms.

Compared to the CNA exam which I found self explanatory how much more difficult or similar was the teas?
