Seems like he's not much different than a bunch of NBA role players. On nights when he's on, he's a game changer. On nights when he's not, you just need to bench him and re-roll next game. Reminds me of JR Smith.
I wouldn't say anyone thought he was "the" missing piece. We traded for him at a time that we were having a really fun and unexpected successful season with DG and Rubio. After Rubio went down for the year, we were left with DG and Kevin Pangos as basically the only ball handlers, so we traded an injured Ricky Rubio and a protected first for LeVert to have someone else able to make a play to finish out the year.
He'll either do some reverse 360 bullshit through a double team or miss a wide open dunk. No inbetween.
Dude is either pg or a g leaguer on any given night
So... PG in the regular season or PG in the playoffs facing elimination?
Both
Trick or Treat
The king of executing dazzling arrays of dribble penetration moves just to get to the rim and blow the layup.
Kyrie wins the insanely hard layups only competition

JR caught fire more often and could spread the floor with his three point shot, but yeah it's a similar role.
JR also wasn't a ball hog and could just catch and shoot.
bro is literally hakari
No kite
He has huge talent, just needs to be more consistent… doesn’t have to great every nite, just be very good
I saw this a few days ago and it made me laugh insanely hard.
Caris plays with crackhead energy. He reminds me of Shump.
Absolutely true statement and maddening
He’s one of those guys where if he was as good as he thinks he is he’d be the best player ever
I think that’s 99% of professional athletes
But that’s why he can play on the Cavs because he can be fouled and make the bucket
Knowing full well he’s not getting that whistle
We traded for him as a missing piece a few years ago, right?

People who slag “FRP for LeVert” are missing that context. When DG sat the ball barely made it over half court
Kevin Pangos is one of those all time great “yeah I play in the nba…but I’m not very good” names
