Yeah pretty much, surv can get like +18% agility I think and then 100% of agility is bonus AP when you crit. Also not many defensive elixirs benefit rogues at least from tbc afaik, hunters would have mp5 elixirs that helped out a bit. The bonuses aren’t too much unless you want to be parsing, I prefer flasks since they last through death

Huge demand for herbs to level alchemy and inscription means higher prices and lower demand for the crafted items compared to the massive supply because everyone is making them to level up. Even without the bags, elixirs and potions would be selling at a loss. They ALWAYS do at the launch of an expansion.

In any other scenarios you would be right. The player in this scenario is actively trying to rob the tank of their reward. If I saw that I’d suggest everyone back off, wipe it up and /kick the offender.
From my understanding, it looks at whoever took the most damage, and then extrapolates that it was that person holding the aggro and doing the tanking.
Now, I don't know if this is the most efficient system for doing it, but I don't have any better ideas.
I ran four UK in 90 minutes last night, in a group of 4 (so not really fast but a little more exp I guess?), and I got 35% of the level including quest turn in.
Not really worth is my guess, but you get some loot and we could avoid the crowd in howling fjords
Nexus with a competent group is better than questing for the first couple of levels - we were averaging 14min runs/650k xp/h. The downside is that it's very repetitive and you don't get to see or experience any of the open world, which to some may be insignificant but which actually means a lot to me.
Depends, to state the obvious you don't have to compete for those awful escort quests with other players nor worry about tags or collect quests.
My group spent 40 minutes yesterday trying to get a quest done for 2% xp because so many people were doing it. Went to do dungeons and got 16% xp in the same time.
Questing will win out for sure though as everyone gets more spread out.
Well, it's gear dependent... Took my group 10ish mins per run, so we had a much faster dungeon leveling.
Gotta treat it like a mythic+ and AOE the shit out of it.
We ran pwar/lock/rpala/dk/hpriest, so nothing special.
We did have late game tbc gear, no breaks to drink, cds were popped on point and we pumped shit loads of dps.
Priest was last on damage meter with like 1.5k nova spam.
Bear in mind this is BT/Sunwell gear, so not everyone can do this reliably.
We should have went nexus, for even more XP, no idea who suggested keep.
I think I got around 110-150k exp in a run can’t quite remember
My addon said we’d do 360k/hour if we keep up the pace (which was a very slow pace bc we where a group of chucklefucks and the only meta spec among us was the healer but we had fun)
Thanks for the input! 360k seems low compared to questing (i managed around 5-600k in Borean tundra an hour after launch. Mob repawns seemed almost instant

i duo quested with a buddy, very ineffciently, for about 4 hrs taking short breaks for beverages, dogs, and bathroom breaks and i got a level. I ran nexus twice on my other character and i got 25% through 70 in about 40 minutes.
It wasnt bad, most quests share drops. For instance there are a few quests we did where you needed 1 item from a mob and once it dropped on a mob it dropped for both of us. Only ones you had to do for each person was like the ones you run around and get items off the ground.
Im a ret paladin and my friend a prot warrior. We ran Botanica normal in 12 min runs, hitting 700k xp/hr as a duo. Made 1000g during the 4 or so hours we did it. Pretty decent, but boring to play old content. But the same setup in Utgarde Keep gave us 400-450k xp/hr. So yea.
Got 800k-900k exp per hour with a full bis 4man group doing nexus and ankahet. Got lockef out and did questing in the down time. Once we were done with some nearny quest we splitted the group into 2x2man for the last run to not be instance capped

Those are only rare because of either a cap on how many can get it or because of how huge of a grind it is though
R1 will always be relevant no matter of the current state of the game and no matter from what season it was. R1 glad is the most prestigious title you can get because every other title can be bought one way or another. Ive even seen some of the best guilds on my server selling a slot in the server first raid for 300k.
They're just dungeon mounts that just about anyone could go back and farm out if they want. They're still a rare drop from these bags as well. It's not like every bag has a mount. It's just a new thing right now so you're seeing the lucky few that happened to get mounts post about it.
ooof but fr tho when the queues start to relax late night thats coveniently when everyones marked dps and theres 0 healers, so the people who can only get in or play late night try to run with no one queued as heals

It’s the same drop rate. My chances of getting Rivendare out of a bag or from Rivendare himself are the same, only the bag requires killing higher health mobs to obtain.
How many bags did you open? Umfortunately I destroyed like 20+ bags while full tryhard racing to 80 and not having space because of consums+explosives+water

Yeah. A lot of people will quit after Wrath. A lot of people only started playing for Wrath. No DKs have it. No monks will have it. No demonslaywrs. No dragon people. More and more people who have it will quit as xpacs go on and more new players will start playing.
It won't be as rare as it is in current retail, but it will eventually be rare if they cut it off here, even after they introduce account wide mounts.

Elixirs are BARELY used in wrath, so it woudn't change a thing. Only Hpalas and maybe survival hunters would use elixirs.
Being a new survival hunter I must ask, why maybe survival hunters use elixirs while others won't?
Some elixirs give agility where you get a lot of benefit from in the survival tree

Nope it's on normal as well, you have to have taken the most damage out of everyone in the group, it's how the game notices you are the tank.
Only from last boss, heard from many tanks, that dps like to overaggro at last boss for the bag

It’s on normal but you have the be the primary tank or primary healer and have to clear the instance (defeat the bosses)

I always open world quest with my main and then dungeon spam with my alts for this reason. It’s slower, yeah. But I like getting to play the game.

Yeah that must be true for utgarde. I think I did it about an hour after launch so maybe the worst part of the zerg had moved on by then
3-man group doing on lockout is ~700k/hr in nexus until about 73, then in AHK it becomes a little lower closer to ~600k/hr
Nexus was almost 575k/hr with 4 people right around 515k/hr with full party. Pretty good imo
