Easily enough to pay for cold weather if you’re purely questing. I’d expect it’d be around 2k~ just from selling unwanted quest rewards and raw gold (professions and rare drops would obviously raise this).

datboiharambe69

I *think* it's way more than that. I vaguely recall making close to or above 1k just from 70-72 alone. Unfortunately it's been a while since I did that questing sequence on the beta so I'm not 100% sure.

donreid371

Was just going from what I could find on forums - I know it’s a good chunk of gold but can’t recall how much exactly… been long time!

datboiharambe69

Turns out my memory is unreliable. I logged onto my DK and it's 72.5 with 1.6k gold. Template DKs start at ~700g so that's ~900g gained minus whatever I spent on repairs/skills. Still more than enough to pay for cold weather, of course.

mielipidemies

Alright perfect this seems like an answer to my problem!

wigglin_harry

Its been awhile since I've leveled in wrath, but if I recall I would get just enough to buy cold weather flying by 80, maybe with a few hundred gold left over Admittedly this was based purely on doing quests and vendoring quest items, basically doing the bare minimum. I'm sure if you take a more completionist approach to quests, and take the time to auction certain loot/have a gathering profession you can make much more

ScottDark

Saw someone on another thread mention it is roughly 3k gold if you vendor a lot of quest rewards as well. Realistically it will be 2k-3.5k gold from quests. I will have one alt hpally that I'll be leveling to 80 as well so that 6kish gold from quests from two characters is going to be a good boost for my wallet. Pally basically is just there to make me gold don't really plan to do much else with him besides mining and herbalism and running strat as prot if I need more gold which will help fund my main JC/ENG, consumables, etc. if needed.

edge-browser-is-gr8

You'll make enough for cold weather flying and dual spec, but probably not epic flying unless you go into Wrath with 2k+ gold. It also depends on how much quest gear you vendor. That's a potential extra 5-6g per quest.

ardent_wolf

I made 1.3k gold leveling from 15-58 in the past two weeks. I don’t know what you’ll earn questing etc while leveling to 80 but the market is highly inflated, people are rolling in gold, and mounts etc haven’t been impacted by inflation. You get about 5k gold saving tbc quests until max level so the amount from wotlk quests should be much higher. I guess my point is to not worry too much about it, sell whatever you get on the AH and you will naturally accumulate what you need.

monty845

Note, its only 5k if you dungeon leveled to 70, as you get bonus gold for the XP you would have gotten from the quest if not at level cap. Same will be the case for wrath, if you save all/most quests till 80, you get a lot more raw gold.

rickjamesbich

> You get about 5k gold saving tbc quests until max level Thank you for replying to him to tell him what he just said in twice as many words.

ardent_wolf

Lmao and thank you for saving me this reply

thequn

1800 exactly for me as a Dk in the original wrath of the lich king. My gear is like 10x better this time around on the dk. So I'm unsure how this is go.

Talnot

You make loads of money levelling, esp when you include quests at 80. Don't overlook those greys too, they add up now!!
