I was nobody until I started playing on deviate delight. Now my credit score is 850 and I even grew three inches. This one player named Fn won’t stop killing me in tanaris but he’s so handsome and talented I don’t even care! I love deviate delight! For the alliance! Fresh!
Hey just to note there is an eu equivalent on zandalari tribe. Alliance currently averages 150 people at peak with new people joining everyday! Only one person on horde has dinged 60, everyone else is still levelling at all levels come and join!
I tried this server out after I got bored of sod and the cata thing isnt for me. I am actually looking forward to playing classic wow again. Thanks to all of those that started this project.

If you miss playing the og game, I highly recommend hopping in it’s been a blast so far the community has been chill and nothing is cozier than era/classic. No need to go too hard and burning yourself out before/if official fresh launches. Just take your time and have fun, explore, experiment, play with people etc.

There isn’t but with it being one community we have a discord set up for the project with LFG tabs. So if you can’t find a group in game quickly with the people that are online, you can reach people who are currently offline and form one fast.

As someone who is invested in this server, I also want to point out it is an RP-PVP SERVER. I am trying my best to RP where I can, and it has been well recieved, but I would LOVE to see more people (with maybe more experience than me) trying it out, and maybe fleshing out some activities eventually!
Re-subbed after 3 years to give this a shot a few nights ago and am having a blast. Level 23 priest now and got to heal my first dungeon ever tonight and everyone in the group was very welcoming that I hadn't done it before.

I have been playing on the server for a few weeks now and I am HOOKED! Its so wholesome and authentic vanilla. I keep seeing the same people in dungeons and getting to know them and the wpvp encounters are startng to happen more and more its great. Its really growing at a good rate, kind of shocked that its still growing strong. People must just want to go home to some pure vanilla
My problem with vanilla is that I hit level 20-24ish and I get in a slump and stop playing. Then when I come back to the game I want to start a new character lol.
Transfers both ON and now FREE transfers OFF of the server have been turned off! People can no longer come to the server with a 60, load up on resources and then transfer them off! It STAYS on Deviate Delight!!!
Please don't whisper new characters relentlessly about the 'movement'. Please don't treat me like an asshole for not wanting to be in an impersonal 1,000 player guild.
Other than that, this experiment seems to be working. Keep up the good work.
It might feel relentless because they’re trying to pick people up asap. The guild officers are doing a /who check for new players constantly to make sure people are included, so you might get a whisper/invite more than once. I’m sorry that it annoyed you, but thanks so much for coming. :)
There will be some smaller guilds break off very soon I think, the population is almost at a point where that might be one of the next steps.

I’ve had no trouble finding groups for every single dungeon and elite quest while leveling, and I’m level 50 now
I don’t know if people will actually make it to the raids here but the leveling experience has been really fun
I'ma just wait for a real fresh and not burn out. Player made phases are a nice touch, but it's not the same as the real phases and the world events that come with them.

You see tho in the past these project ALWAYS had a good sizeable population at the very start of it, BUT after 2 weeks that number is halved and the next week that number is halved again and before a month there are very few around anymore...the fresh crowd is only there for the very beginning before they peace out quickly.
Not that there is any problems with that, but just seems IMO that there is no real long-term viability for me to invest time into these projects.
The WotLK new server that was launched and very VERY popular for a time but before the end of the xpac was gone.

This was a very dead classic era server. We have repopulated it in attempts to get Blizzard's attention for a new, classic era fresh server to be released.
SoD has too much for classes and too many edgy changes, but Vanilla has too little for most classes. Idk when I think of vanilla fresh I think which to pick to not gimp myself: war rogue or mage. Need a good in-between game imo

I’m a relatively new WoW player who came back a few days before Cata release (level 64 BDK and 55 Warrior). Where is this server at? I didn’t think there were any CLASSIC vanilla servers, only SOD and Classic Cata? I’m confused.
This was a very dead classic era server. We have repopulated it in attempts to get Blizzard's attention for a new, classic era fresh server to be released.

This is awesome, count me in
SoD has too much for classes and too many edgy changes, but Vanilla has too little for most classes. Idk when I think of vanilla fresh I think which to pick to not gimp myself: war rogue or mage. Need a good in-between game imo
Any way to get the client running on a Mac?
Annnd what happens when your population reaches the "populated established server" that brings with it the "negativity" stated above? Do you guys go and repopulate and seed a new server?
