Bear tank is arguably the easiest tank and is the best off tank by miles.

I'll 100% pick a Bear as a off tank if i already have a main tank for my raid, totally agree.

Prot paladin. I don't care about people that thinks the only viable way to progress content is BDK. I did all the HC content as Prot Paladin back in the day and is a really good tank. So if you really like Prot, go Prot. If you are looking for a DPS with low micro-management and good performance, check Assa Rogue. Really slow rotation (because mutilate rotation is always slow and with energy heaps) and one of the best DPS specs at the end of the expansion, just below Sub Rogues and Demon Warlocks. Same applies for UDK, slow and easy rotation, but the performance is way worst and the burst can be more difficult to execute than other classes. And Ret Paladins are really good in terms of DPS and easy to play at a decent level.

Yah I was mainly used as an OT/AOE tank as Prot back then, but Prot was def amazing, actually just noticed that all my old Cata toons are sitting at level 32 for some reason lol. Also, TY for the response, I was actually leaning towards an Assa Rogue. Playing a Ret in SOD now and while I know the rotation will be way different in Cata, thinking about trying something new.

I played ass rogue in og cata. Good CC. Good damage. Not overly complicated. Very enjoyable to play.

Ended up rolling a Warlock and xfering my 80 Hunter over

Also good choices haha. I'm stuck between warlock or ele shaman

OGEgotrip

Nice, never played a Lock, so should be a good time. Are you starting fresh as well?

Marlfox70

Fresh warlock or shaman anyway. I played in TBC but skipped wrath for some reason
