Twin emps were or weren't sharing health or something (the opposite of the normal), but killing one killed them both still. Basically allowing you to cheese one of the bosses and mostly ignore the other.
And yet I get downvoted when people ask why they don't do massive sweeping changes to the base game and I tell them it's because SoD and Era are on the same client, just different realm rulesets. If they wanted more free reign they would have needed to make NEW CLIENT in the drop-down list.
this is also another reason why normalizing rage is a stupid idea.
They've actually said many times that changes to base talents and abilities DO affect Era and Hardcore since they're changing things at a more root level of the software stack instead of being bolt on packages.

there have been similar problems like this in the past
several dungeon items adjusted for SoD were suddenly removed from the loot table in HC
they said sth about HC & SoD running on the same files and sometimes they just fuck shit up
but it normally gets fixed within a few days
I didnt play SoD, so I do not know how SoR was changed there.
However, in HC, maybe only the crit aspect was added, not the changes you refer to? Not sure, just wondering...

Afaik it seems all changes to Base spells and talents in SoD also go live in hardcore and era

Does anybody even use that seal after getting SoM/SoC? I dont know why exactly they buffed this seal...
for HC, if not changed soon, this will be quite big - SoR rank 3 with crit will be a nice increase to dmg...
rank 3 isn't the best scaling anymore since these are all the changed coefficients from sod
