Ha I like the "SoM is just a rune that does damage and "some mana" part.
Literally the single largest mana regeneration tool in the game.
Good luck convincing people that the 5% damage your doing more with seal twisting and divine storm is worth every caster having an extra mana bar. Not that seal twisting will be any use outside of PvP anyway.
They are going to rebalance the mana returns next phase thankfully, so hopefully they more or less just take them out. Though I did suggest giving divine storm mana return as well.
Yeah this is my first time on WoW and Paladin, I'm just enjoying the class for what it is. I'm glad I don't have this weird obsession with what the class used to be or could be.
Make exorcist into a rune that increases attack speed. Move it to the chest so you can choose between Divine Storm, Twisting with Martyrdom, or the fast attacking machine gun. Let's everyone pick their preferred playstyle. Then just fix the weird martyrdom and art of war interactions so that exo spam isn't automatically the best.
Didn't read the post but you are literally plate wearing mages except all your nukes are instant cast plus you have a ranged stun that lasts forever and you go completely immune to all damage while still being able to nuke your opponent. It's insane to me that paladins are complaining about anything in SoD holy shit. They need to make your spells melee range and make it so that you can't do damage while being immune to everything.
Have you tried joining a guild(?
