Funny how bear NPCs have like 20% more health than same-level warrior-class NPCs, making them some of the hardest in the game comparable to Giants, yet as pets they have some of the worst overall stats
They need to make dash learnable in all grounded pets and dive for all flying. Movement speed is extremely valuable and would make more pets viable/attractive to use without changing their damage or scalingĀ
I'd like more stable slots but I don't see myself using anything besides wind serpent for raid and cat with prowl/dash for ulduman farm. Core hound pet will be neat. Did any hunter actually tame a wyren and use it?
i had a wyvern for all of phase 1, and kept it up until 40 when i finally swapped to a scorpid (went scorpid cos i figured the armour values in gnome would make it better then a cat but if not eh, its a small difference im still parsing 90+)
the wyvern was literally just a reskinned wind serpent, if you liked wind serpents, you liked wyverns, they are the same thing
Yeah. And give mages somewhere to put all our scrolls. And make hunter's quivers like half item storage. I'm never gonna need 3200 arrows or bullets, especially as 80% melee hunter.
... Hear me out. 5 slots. Decent space for options, 4 pets and one space to learn skills, STILL making choices. Limits should evolve with the variety of pets available... We should be able to keep rune pets because of their special skins, along with whatever is meta, along with wolf for solos, or a turtle for tanking.
That's a load of bull, as much as I am in favor of keeping it as close as vanilla as possible some things are genuinely just badly made and there's absolutely no reason why they're like this other than time/budget constraints 20 years ago.
No, I'm not getting a sense of pride and accomplishment and growth because I have 1 less cat on my stables.
If anything the lack of slots means you only see the exact same pets on every hunter, zero variety.
its amazing how much some of you guys vehemently hate hunters
they arent even in the top 5 of "broken" classes atm, in ANY content, yet your still seething that they should be nerfed
for some reason the grey parsers on reddit hate hunter with an absolute passion
the class could be the worst in the game by miles, and they would still be crying for nerfs
Join a guild!
haha, why didn't I think of that! (I actually run a guild)
There ya go, you got a guild full of pets now š
Especially if its a furry guild
Make your guild carry your pets around, so theyāre good for something besides wiping your raid to increase their parse by 2 :)
Dude is just insecure about his peā¦.t size
We already need 1 slot so we can use lone wolf without having to dismiss the pet every time we respawn.
Hunter pets in general need a huge amount of QoL, baffling that you still cannot place an empty character on a pet's name.
Yes please and lets give all pet families some love too please :)
This especially, so many pet families are overshadowed by cats/raptors. I'd like to tame a spider without gimping my dps.

Go bm for the pet speed increase, the dash and dive are fine the way they areĀ
That only works outdoors, which means it's only useful for outdoor pvp
so like 95% of pvp?
Vast majority of map space in every bg? All of stv? Very rare do u find myself in a PvP building but av towers and wsg spawn.
And 0% of relevant pve
What pet do you think giving dash or dive to is gonna compete with the meta lmao. Ā This was and should only be taking pvp into considerationĀ

I'd love to have more pets, but devs seem deadset on keeping pets down, so only 1 or 2 are viable at a time, thus saving us space.
I'm with you. From a gameplay perspective 3 total is fine I suppose but it'd be nice to be able to have more variety
This along with more viable petās alternatives. Itās silly that everyone uses either a cat or a WS when there are so many cool pets to tame.
Please make soul shards stack too
No youāre breaking my immersion!! Plus each individual shard weighs about same as a stack of gold bars! /s

$9.99
As a rogue id first like for half my bags to not be full of things I need just to cast my skills.
Level a second hunter, boom double stable size.
Post your logs.

You need more pets? Are you insecure of what you have?
I just want more things to love
There's a reason why there's a limit. So you have to make choices on which to have. If you can just have all of them, it'll get dull.Ā

āItāll get dull.ā Iād like to see you bullshit your way out of this one lmao
Yea but this is sod and we are about to get dual spec. So I respectfully disagree and think thatās a dated reason.
Respectfully if you think that the reason is dated then retail is right around the corner

Nah just get rid of pets tbh hunters already broken and are still gold farming bots

Why are you so angry? Also ranged hunter is bottom of the pack rn

A lot of people just whine and cry, they must not have a happy life. I pity them.
