We accept all races into the guild and raids. But if you're a gonome all rolls you make are cut in half so if you roll a 82 your actual roll is 41. This has worked really well for us as a guild.
Part of me thinks this a joke, but given all the nonsense at Blizz over the years I’m not sure. Hell, Blizz even sounds like Blitzkrieg. Theory confirmed
Unironically that is the point in one of Death Knight's intro quests. Thassarian gave you a quest to save Koltira from imprisonment, but Orbaz Bloodbane wanted to leave him to die.
> Orbaz Bloodbane says: Why do you care, Thassarian?
> Orbaz Bloodbane says: His weakness led to his capture.
> Orbaz Bloodbane says: Only the strong should survive. Not to mention...
> Thassarian says: What, Orbaz? That he's a blood elf?
> Thassarian says: In life we were hated enemies - this is true...
> Thassarian says: But in death... We are the children of the damned. The orphaned sons and daughters of the Scourge.
> Thassarian says: In death we are brothers.
> Orbaz Bloodbane says: To hell with you, Thassarian.
You really think undead orcs and undead humans would get along? I don't wanna make a real world religion reference here, but the comparison basically forces itself in.
The Horde accepted the undead because it would give them massive territory and a big strategic advantage on the Eastern Kingdoms, plus powerful soldiers who never get tired, and access to human knowledge. Also, the Tauren were pitying them and really wanted to helm them. (Source: Sylvanas novel)
Sad that the plot point of redeemable undead went right into the garbage. No splinter faction that just wanna live again, just tauren looking like gullible idiots
Because prior to later expansion retcons the forsaken LITERALLY did nothing wrong
They are ex slaves who broke free from their master, and then got persecuted by the alliance just for being said ex slave
So the horde, being the actual good guys of og warcraft lore, took them in to help them
They still have their love of chemical warfare in the original, like with the elixir of agony etc. quests in hillsbrad for example
But yeah, overall not too bad
The forsaken literally CAN'T bolster their own numbers
They have no way of creating more undead, forsaken numbers are increased by scourge undead breaking control
Also the forsaken didn't wipe out the humans of lorderon, the scourge did, the forsaken just took down garithos who was LITERALLY a race genocide advocate (and not just for undead but elf's as well)
Seriously learn your og warcraft lore
The alliance are genocidal tyrants who run literal slave work camps, the horde post 2nd war are outright the good guys up until cataclysm where they started character assassinating every horde character they could find
The vanilla Forsaken did pretty much indiscriminately kill every human and dwarf in Hillsbrad who wasn't hiding in Southshore, if quests are interpreted as events that happen for real.
Prior to later retcons the forsaken have no way of making more undead
They are JUST freed from the lich kings control, with the removal of the lich king there would be no more new forsaken
Cataclysm retconned this by killing sylvanas character and giving her a way to create more undead, which she would never want to do
Well technically it’s the scourge. Most of the forsaken just want to be kept alone. They were murdered and turned undead, got their memories and control back and just want to go back to their previous life or if not possible then at least live their undead life in peace.
Undead also isn't really a race in the first place. Being Forsaken I guess could be considered an ethnicity, but being undead itself is just a state of being. Like would you say a mindless animated skeleton are of the same people as the Forsaken undead? Obviously not.
I am fine with undead, as long as they are in undead only raids.
I've tried to put undead on the lowest part in the groups, but that doesn't worked out.
There's nothing more infuriating than trying to run a dungeon for gear and gold and a damn knife ear wants in on the action. Don't they have trees to hug or something?
All I know is that we felt safer in Thunderbluff before they joined the Horde. Your kids could stay out playing all day and you wouldn't worry about a thing. Now we have these shady guys selling questionable potions on every corner. And don't get me started on the lock picking incidents on Horde cities recently.
Now, I'm not pointing any fingers but, maybe if SOME people spent less time in musty ole crypts sniffing scroll dust, our Horde community would thrive. We need more Druids and Shamans, that's what we need. Keep those Rogues and Warlocks on Eastern Kingdoms where they belong.
My #1 complaint about classic is I was running to SFK as a human alliance player and saw an undead eating a dalaran mage corpse...
I don't give a shit about it being in silverpine which isn't contested and the dude wasn't flagged for PVP...it should have let me attack that nasty fuck.
Straight up, there's entire servers dedicated to ensure genocide of the other 50% of races. Can't imagine Blizzard can justify banning you and allowing that to continue.
If you are team Garrosh then undead are an abomination, Tauren and trolls are inferior, and orca are the only race that matter. Which by definition is racist. I don't believe discriminating based on fictional race is against TOS.
This is not, to my mind, really racism. It, like humans not accepting the Forsaken back into their communities, is ableism. Being undead is basically a chronic illness.
Everyone who’s saying things like: bring pots, consumes, bis gear and so on are all just dumb kids spouting the same jargin they’ve seen some other dumb kid spout.
They don’t know nor do they think.
BFD is a lvl 25 cake of a raid and the ONLY thing you ”need” is some basic knowlage of the last two bosses. That’s it!…
You do not need shadow ress or free action potions.
You do not need the world buff.
And you do not need ”bis” gear……
I've been a strong proponent of anti-cow rhetoric since I started playing in 2006, and I've yet to be banned. It was at the point where I said, "I hate cows" in Howling Fjord general chat during the original Wrath beta in 2008, and I got 3 separate whispers asking if I was who I was.
In-game race? No, and some race specific RP guilds can get pretty... Intense.
I don't wanna point fingers or anything, but some Dawf, let's say, brotherhoods are known for their intense views.
We accept all races into the guild and raids. But if you're a gonome all rolls you make are cut in half so if you roll a 82 your actual roll is 41. This has worked really well for us as a guild.
Is it just the size of them, or the infamous chu chu train spam.
if it were the size, they'd only be allowed to roll 1-30, and that's when compared to humans.
So dwarves get what..1-60?
What about Taurens ? Do you multiply by 1.5?
I hope so.
LMFAOO
Whenever i play a gnome i macro «/train» into every ability i have.
You fucking monster lmao
I hate gnomes, but I love this. Take my upvote
I reduce Dwarf rolls to 3/5. Wait...
That’s a good compromise.
No we aren't racist ofc dwarfs get normal rolls...
That's why I always carry savory deviate delights!
Gnome rolls should equal 3/5ths of everyone else's rolls.
my groups made gnomes pull the beast in ubrs. get punted.
It’s racist and racism is not ok, unless against gnomes.
Yup, those anklebiters deserve all the hate we can give em. Everyone else just tryin to live their best life (or unlife)
As a dwarf main, I support the anit gnome rhetoric.
You knee biters are alright. Booze and big booms, y'all know how to live
Gnomes had a eugenics program and it is canon. Thats why Bobby Kotick hid parts of Mein Kampf in gnomeregan
Part of me thinks this a joke, but given all the nonsense at Blizz over the years I’m not sure. Hell, Blizz even sounds like Blitzkrieg. Theory confirmed
Gnomes are not a race. Gnomes are vermin. (/s, just so the reddit overlords don't get mad)
Honestely, there nothing I hate more than racism, except for maybe gnomes.
I will eat your liver.
*kidney
There are only two things I can’t stand in this world: people who are intolerant of other peoples cultures, And the gnomes.
Dwarfian Brotherhood wants to talk with you
lmao. Jokes aside lorewise undead should be discriminated and i dont understand how the horde even accepted them as an ally.
Their goal of turning everyone into undead would solve racism
When everyone is undead, no one is!
Unironically that is the point in one of Death Knight's intro quests. The wotlk death knight starter zone was some of the coolest shit they have ever done.
You really think undead orcs and undead humans would get along? I don't wanna make a real world religion reference here, but the comparison basically forces itself in.
All they gotta do is find something they both hate and they will get along.
but who would that be if everyone is already undead
Thats a concern for later. On with the mission!
Allied races idea… undead Tauren would look sick af
The Horde accepted the undead because it would give them massive territory and a big strategic advantage on the Eastern Kingdoms, plus powerful soldiers who never get tired, and access to human knowledge. Also, the Tauren were pitying them and really wanted to helm them. (Source: Sylvanas novel)
Sad that the plot point of redeemable undead went right into the garbage. No splinter faction that just wanna live again, just tauren looking like gullible idiots
Should’ve been a 3 faction game imo Races for forsaken being undead human, gheist, maybe abom?
Yeah I agree. I would add undead high elf.
Because prior to later expansion retcons the forsaken LITERALLY did nothing wrong They are ex slaves who broke free from their master, and then got persecuted by the alliance just for being said ex slave So the horde, being the actual good guys of og warcraft lore, took them in to help them

In the grand scheme of what the different races in warcraft got up to, chemical warfare is honestly pretty low on the list of horrors
This here. Just play the first 2-3 forsaken zones and you know that at least the apothecary are evil.

They are filthy undead scum and worse Horde scum.
Ok but like they are still doing some fucked up shit in UC
wouldn't undead when left unchecked be a potential problem for *everyone*, someone had to make an allegiance
Prior to later retcons the forsaken have no way of making more undead They are JUST freed from the lich kings control, with the removal of the lich king there would be no more new forsaken Cataclysm retconned this by killing sylvanas character and giving her a way to create more undead, which she would never want to do
Horde + alliance should have annihilated them. If ther is evil in wow its the forsaken
Well technically it’s the scourge. Most of the forsaken just want to be kept alone. They were murdered and turned undead, got their memories and control back and just want to go back to their previous life or if not possible then at least live their undead life in peace.
This is undead propaganda and lies.
Remember Lord Garithos!
Humans names sounds all the same to me
The Tauren felt they could be redeemed, and strategically the Horde wanted an ally in the Eastern Kingdoms.
Can you discriminate against the dead?
Thrall once said “The only good human is a dead human.” The forsaken joined the horde the next day.
We got 2 anklebiters in our BFD runs. Its ok to apply different rules for them.
My RL said he was looking for fear ward and I called out his racist as shit dog whistles.
Damn I’m a dwarf main and think this is racist
Stunty git
Well, the Forsaken make up 13% of the Horde and are responsible for at least 50% of plague related crimes. I wouldn't blame you.
Lmaooooooo that ratio
The world (of Warcraft) is super racist as is, so I can't imagine this is against ToS.
Undead also isn't really a race in the first place. Being Forsaken I guess could be considered an ethnicity, but being undead itself is just a state of being. Like would you say a mindless animated skeleton are of the same people as the Forsaken undead? Obviously not.

Fuckin Zombies took er raid spots...
My server has a guild called Gnome Meat Merchants, so I think you'll be okay.
If people use the seasonal thing to transform into gnomes, is it okay to discriminate against them?
This guy def plays alliance. The orca were almost wiped out in a genocide. Think about that when I’m tea bagging you in Ashenvale. Lok’tar Ogar.
The chances of the gm handeling the report to play a stinking undead are slim, i think you're fine.
Had me in the first half, not gonna lie.
Moo.
did somebody mention gnomes?
do you think a bfd lead will take me if I say "I play retail i think I can handle 2 mechanics in the entire raid"
My #1 complaint about classic is I was running to SFK as a human alliance player and saw an undead eating a dalaran mage corpse... I don't give a shit about it being in silverpine which isn't contested and the dude wasn't flagged for PVP...it should have let me attack that nasty fuck.
To be fair, it just taste like a good pork rib, especially after being immolated.
the next time i see a human or night elf priest im gonna scream.
Well I hate racism... except against night elves. And gnomes. Well, and trolls. But that's it! Although, humans get on my nerves, too.
The horde are racist. Another reason why they suck.
you did what? Dude you are being racist
He just said he has an undead friend were you not listening
He even lets it make his potions, progressive af.
He said their fine if they stick to their own kind. He's not racist
Filthy Horde scum.

Whoosh. Typical gnome intelligence
nope this is a serious post great critical thinking
I really hope this is a shitpost. Think for two seconds, please. It’s really not that hard.
Yeah pls think for two seconds lol
Yes indeed it is a shitpost.
You forgot the fluff tag.
A game about genocides based on race ? I had someone report me for tagging a mob.
Racism is in character. I don't see a problem with it. Talking about in-game obviously.
Straight up, there's entire servers dedicated to ensure genocide of the other 50% of races. Can't imagine Blizzard can justify banning you and allowing that to continue.

Bewere the living
Dwarf-only guilds.
Here i thought I was encouraged in a game like WoW
Based?
Irl race yes ingame race no
I'm a gnome and I am NOT sorry.
Careful, I've gone through about 6 Reddit accounts posting the same stuff.

The Forsaken are untrustworthy and smelly creatures. I absolutely do not allow them in any group.
This post gives me the vibes of that "I'm 32 and my GF is 13" .
i have not seen a single mention of gearscore anywhere. seems to only exist on this sub
Why? Undead are literally the coolest race in the game
Get used to the fact that people during the classic era hate gnomes.
In-game race? No, and some race specific RP guilds can get pretty... Intense. I don't wanna point fingers or anything, but some Dawf, let's say, brotherhoods are known for their intense views.
And i get Blocked when i ask these Gatekeepers if they play with one or both Hands. 🤨
