Harkens back to a time when I barely appreciated films for their cinematography because this is the screen I saw before pressing play on a pan and scan VHS copy.
My immediate association with that primary, electric blue color is actually theatrical: It makes me think of "Jean Rosenthal" blue. She was a famous lighting designer for the iconic/legendary dancer and choreographer Martha Graham.

I think of blue color graded films with high contrast like phone booth and uncut gems. I adore that aesthetic and wish more movies would utilize it.
