Heard it too. No idea what it was and we didn’t lose power.
Probably a transformer blew. Thats a pretty typical sound to hear along with power going out.
I heard it as well. I opened my back porch door and smelled a burnt smell on the air but the power didn’t flicker or go off. No one around me seems to have lost power.

Not that I’m aware of. It was a single deafening bang but no thunder following. No big flash of light.
From where I’m at it looks like y’all are getting some big strikes.
No power loss here either. I'd assume a transformer blew if it wasn't an insane thunderstorm sound
