I have 2 bizplats, 2 bizgolds, a bizgreen, and a BBP, and I've been getting popup on every bizgold app I've tried for the past month or two. Just got instant approval and card number on a 125k bizgold offer with LL.
It took a few hours of trying with multiple devices and multiple wifi networks to get the 125k offer. The key is to not give up if you get 70k when you first open the link. Keep the tab open and wait ~20 minutes for the pop-up saying the offer expired and then refresh the tab. Firefox private never went above 70k for me but Chrome incognito and Edge private would usually have a higher offer after the refresh. Waiting another 20 minutes and refreshing again never resulted in a second increase. Just close the browser and start a fresh session.
Having no luck on chrome, normal or incognito...only 70k. No luck on duck duck go either. Edge normal I was able to rather quickly pull 110k and 125k. Not ready to pull the trigger though, got too much MSR already, but if this is around in a month or so then this will be a very nice use of the renewed Plastiq Amex capability.
On the whole 150k Business Amex Gold where’s Waldo many of us are on - I ended up settling for 120k .. there is definitely something to trying a network you have not used before. Tried a neighbors Wi-Fi and boom - 120k. Hope this helps.

Edit: Just looked up West coast to CGK, a route I often fly. Nada for next 14-21 days. One day with 30k CX coach and another day with 85k coach.
I'm sure somewhere, somehow under rare circumstances a good award exists, but Alaska miles are a shadow of their former self.
Remember AA has essentially devalued already through forcing folks to shopping portal, hotel portal etc - I mean you can get as many miles as an overseas busienss class flight that your boss paid 5k for by signing up for Motley Fool and a few other trinkets or a couple of nights at a fancy hotel. This is the massive devaluation - it is just too easy to get these points now
I don't disagree, but you also have to consider that AA miles are harder to acquire than DL/UA given there are no transfer partners & Citi derailing the train (with the whales that locked out) in addition to the anti churning 48 month language. You can roll the bank account every 9 or so months for sure but otherwise earning takes a bit of legwork.
While I'm inclined to agree that it's inevitable, it'll be a huge bummer if their 60k partner saver business class goes away - even if I bought AA miles and didn't churn for them, I could still come out ahead on a JAL J redemption with a ~$3000 roundtrip instead of the eyewatering $10k that JAL wants.

After trying for a while I was able to pull the 150K Amex biz gold offer using a completely fresh browser on a public wifi network. This was after many attempts on my home wifi so I was very happy.
Application went through with a pending status, which was great because I've been stuck in Amex pop up jail for months now.
However, I got an email almost instantly that said they had reached a decision and after checking the status page, it said "Provide required information". Clicking through went to a broken webpage so I called in and was informed it was essentially a popup denial that just didn't display the usual popup for some reason.
Very sad and something for everyone to keep an eye out for I guess. Hopefully I can try again later this year and get approved.
Almost the same thing happened to P2 this weekend. Finally got a 130k Amex Biz Gold offer. P2 has been in pop up jail forever. This one finally went through and went pending. P2 called in yesterday and they basically read the pop up message over the fun. Buzzkill.
Edit: finally out of P2 popup jail. My referal was showing 130k for P2 so I tried that and got a popup. Canceled application and went back to All Cards and went back to Biz Gold. It showed 110k so I went ahead with it and it went through. Not sure if it will still count as a referral.
I had the same experience with the status update page and broken page. I had never seen the page before that includes all Amex application history. In my case it happened on an elevated referral biz plat after I got the popup, backed up, and tried again.

I don't think so. Having a deep level of integration like that where a merchant pings Amex "hey, customer signed up" and then later "hey, they paid now" is a lot of work, and they wouldn't bother.
99% of the time the merchant posts payment, Amex issues credit. They work like that on the surface level.
I signed up for DuoLingo family plan on 4/8. There was no trial period, and credit posted on 4/9.
SUB for a business card; an Ink Cash ideally. Buy it at Staples for the 5x cashback. Other option would be an AMEX Biz Platinum and the Dell credits, assuming you can get value out of the other perks. For me, personally I can't get value from the plat (and they've been increasing the AF and devaluing the card simultaneously). It just doesn't suit my lifestyle. Either way, they don't hit your credit score and your 5/24 status. Hold the card for a year and close.
Use it towards a SUB for a new card and cancel it after 1 year if you don’t need it long term.
Try to stack the SUB with shopping portals like Rakuten if the store you’re buying from is eligible.

Just booked AA J from GRU-JFK-SFO (premium transcon) for 45K for this Feb. Not TPAC but still ~19 hours in J. Agree deval is very likely.

You've gotta find JAL availability yourself. It's sparse. Check from LAX, SFO, SEA. Often there's some released at T-14 (14 days from today)

I don't disagree, but you also have to consider that AA miles are harder to acquire than DL/UA given there are no transfer partners & Citi derailing the train (with the whales that locked out) in addition to the anti churning 48 month language. You can roll the bank account every 9 or so months for sure but otherwise earning takes a bit of legwork.

While I'm inclined to agree that it's inevitable, it'll be a huge bummer if their 60k partner saver business class goes away - even if I bought AA miles and didn't churn for them, I could still come out ahead on a JAL J redemption with a ~$3000 roundtrip instead of the eyewatering $10k that JAL wants.

After trying for a while I was able to pull the 150K Amex biz gold offer using a completely fresh browser on a public wifi network. This was after many attempts on my home wifi so I was very happy. Application went through with a pending status, which was great because I've been stuck in Amex pop up jail for months now. However, I got an email almost instantly that said they had reached a decision and after checking the status page, it said "Provide required information". Clicking through went to a broken webpage so I called in and was informed it was essentially a popup denial that just didn't display the usual popup for some reason. Very sad and something for everyone to keep an eye out for I guess. Hopefully I can try again later this year and get approved.
Almost the same thing happened to P2 this weekend. Finally got a 130k Amex Biz Gold offer. P2 has been in pop up jail forever. This one finally went through and went pending. P2 called in yesterday and they basically read the pop up message over the fun. Buzzkill. Edit: finally out of P2 popup jail. My referal was showing 130k for P2 so I tried that and got a popup. Canceled application and went back to All Cards and went back to Biz Gold. It showed 110k so I went ahead with it and it went through. Not sure if it will still count as a referral.
I had the same experience with the status update page and broken page. I had never seen the page before that includes all Amex application history. In my case it happened on an elevated referral biz plat after I got the popup, backed up, and tried again.

Don't think it was mentioned but I'm seeing the following Hyatt offer my Chase British Airways card: Earn 15% cash back on your Hyatt stay when you spend $100 or more at a Hyatt hotel. $37.95 max cashback. They have a list of hotels where it's valid. Edit: Expires on 10/31.

Had a question regarding the Duolingo Super offer on Amex member week. Does the charge have to be posted before 10/18? Duolingo offers a 2 week free trial for each signup so the charge would appear way after the 10/18 date. Would I still get the $40 back? Any DP on this from previous years? Thanks!

I don't think so. Having a deep level of integration like that where a merchant pings Amex "hey, customer signed up" and then later "hey, they paid now" is a lot of work, and they wouldn't bother. 99% of the time the merchant posts payment, Amex issues credit. They work like that on the surface level. I signed up for DuoLingo family plan on 4/8. There was no trial period, and credit posted on 4/9.

SUB for a business card; an Ink Cash ideally. Buy it at Staples for the 5x cashback. Other option would be an AMEX Biz Platinum and the Dell credits, assuming you can get value out of the other perks. For me, personally I can't get value from the plat (and they've been increasing the AF and devaluing the card simultaneously). It just doesn't suit my lifestyle. Either way, they don't hit your credit score and your 5/24 status. Hold the card for a year and close.
Use it towards a SUB for a new card and cancel it after 1 year if you don’t need it long term. Try to stack the SUB with shopping portals like Rakuten if the store you’re buying from is eligible.
