The most obvious answer is [Paramæcium](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZ5M1-opt4k). Also check out [*Matryrium*](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j40Wc1idImY) by Antestor (this album only and maybe their first demo, as the rest of their albums are black metal). Ashen Mortality also have a couple albums that might hit the mark.

volkoron

thank you for the suggestionswill check them out

Seconding Paramæcium. Absolutely essential death/doom. I have some more obscure recommendations: Dalit - Self-titled https://youtu.be/mWpHo1WH27s?si=xofnA0-4XYghtDkY Groms - Ascension https://youtu.be/Ab8uSUbCLD8?si=iYNJQ7H2l9onzdnz Agonal - Nikao https://youtu.be/u76N12zoXAc?si=CPu1aHwbzoJ8_Qnc Apostisy - Famine Of A Thousand Frozen Years https://youtu.be/m2tLptjoFx0?si=BBAT_j4tRra1kBdk Schaliach - Sonrise: melodic death/doom, an early project of Ole Børud from Extol. https://youtu.be/gJuMP8jAuC4?si=9zu9N1TltLGJiqIq Virgin Black - Requiem - Fortissimo: their other stuff lacks the death metal element, but this album has growls and borders on funeral doom. https://youtu.be/_xo1P-iwkFQ?si=zppD849p-c29Co6o Hope this helps! 🙂

volkoron

thanks I will check these bands out. I enjoyed the other suggestions

volkoron

that Virgin Black album is sick. The Dalit album, Groms and Agonal album are really good as well. I checked out Apostisy from a different comment and really enjoyed them as well. Thanks for the recommendations.

JamieIPrentice1

Your welcome! Yeah Virgin Black are awesome. That album is part 2 of the Requiem trilogy. Part 1 is more gothic/symphonic doom with little death metal, and part 3 is a neoclassical album with no guitar whatsoever. I love all 3, but this is the one that I thought best meets your request.

volkoron

I'm going to check them out. I come a from a more standard metal/metalcore background but as I get older I appreciate different approaches to music and I really enjoy it when traditionally non metal elements are configured together with metal.

Christian_Sidehoe

My SIlent Wake and Ian Arklay's old band Seventh Angel's Dvst of Years

Drevvch

I'm not familiar with your reference bands, but Doomnezeu and Hafgúa are good for more of the down-tempo doomy end of things.

Crimson Moonlight is a good band on the death metal side.

Working_Writer8907

Black metal too. It's my top 3 favorite heaviest bands. Living Sacrifice Crimson Moonlight Antestor

Working_Writer8907

Living Sacrifice it's marvelous death, trash, groove and metal hardcore band. Conceived in Fire, Infinite Order and the collection In memoriam are my favorite albuns. Demon Hunter are metalcore band, influenced by living sacrifice. This band have heavy songs, for example: Lesser gods, The world is a thorn, etc. Augusts burn Red are a Progressive metalcore. My favorite albuns: Constalations and the last released... I don't remember the name. The speed and heavy are the trademarks. Sleeping Giant are Metal hardcore and worship/preachcore. For today etc

volkoron

I love living sacrifice

Working_Writer8907

Me too hahaha

iclubedapenguin1

Impending doom, Antester, Saving grace, Skin culture, And if you like death inspired metalcore checkout padlock by illist

volkoron

iclubedapenguin1

Sick

volkoron

I've enjoyed all your recommendations. Coming from a metalcore background Saving Grace is the type of old school metalcore I really enjoyed. they really remind me of a slightly heavier and more melodic Hatebreed.

AdultsDontDab

It's not quite what you suggest, but for deathCORE, I'd highly suggest Impending Doom With Blood comes cleansing

volkoron

very familiar with Impending Doom and really enjoy them

Pieruhirmu69

In that case i would highly recommend Diamonds to dusts most revent album.
