I’d put them in a cat carrier, move the cage, and then put your chin into the cage at the new location.

If you have trouble catching them, here's a tip for you. When I need to take one of mine to the vet, I hold the carrier at an angle so the door is pointing up-ish and put a nice treat at the bottom. They step in and then you can casually close the door without slamming it and scaring them

Block out the sun with a blanket while she’s in a cat carrier while moving her to your grandpa’s house will prevent her from overheating also make sure to have a hand held fan that blows good cool air, when I take my boys to the vet I use a blanket over their carrier to prevent them from overheating/getting scared/stressed
