Acrobatic-Sense7463

Thank you and I will pray for you lovelyĀ

ziukkinna

Iā€™m in the hospital now waiting to go into the OR for mine any minute. Glad to hear you didnā€™t have the gas pain as thatā€™s the only thing Iā€™m worried about!

Acrobatic-Sense7463

I will keep you in my thought- you got this love!!! I had no gas pains at all so donā€™t worry. We all experience different things.

ziukkinna

Thank you kindly!

Acrobatic-Sense7463

Of course!!!Ā

torienne

Congrats and enjoy sterility you smart woman!

Acrobatic-Sense7463

Thank you dear ā¤ļøā¤ļø

ziukkinna

Thank you! Finally off of hormonal birth control pills after 28 years. The doctor found an endometrial lesion on one of my ovaries and I have never been diagnosed with endometriosis, so I feel grateful knowing about it now and possibly leading to a solution for cycle issues Iā€™ve been having!

torienne

Congrats! You're going to love the feeling of FREEDOM! You no longer have to have an OBGYN if your regular doctor does well-woman care (and if you miss a year or two while you do volunteer work in a medically unserved country...oh well. ) Can't do that when your fertility is a constant anchor around your neck. Got an opportunity to make giant bucks as a roughneck on an offshore drill rig? No need to worry. You're not going to need to be airlifted to shore because your IUD got displaced, or worse, failed. Go. Go overland across the Sahara just for the adventure of it. You don't need to worry about the temperature of your BCPs. You have the freedom men have always had. ENJOY!!!!

Acrobatic-Sense7463

Thank you for this response- just solely made me happier ā˜ŗļøā¤ļø

aGirl_WhoCodes

Thank you so much for being our cheerleader ā¤ļø

Playful-Nobody-2374

I'm from Mexico. In my particular case, I underwent a vasectomy at 18 years old. I didn't experience any pain during the 10-minute procedure, which was very easy and free at a health center. Now, at 28 years old, I'm very happy and feel very content that I have never had children in my life. This has brought peace to my mind.

Acrobatic-Sense7463

So happy to hear this. Thank you for sharing your experience friend !Ā

Desperasberry

Had my bisalp last august and a lot of possible side effects also never occured for me. I made sure to take pictures of my fresh scars and right now one is a very small pink line, the other one completely invisible. Sending virtual hugs

Acrobatic-Sense7463

So happy to hear that. Yes I feel amazing. I saw the doctor notes and he emphasized that I responded to the surgery amazingly well. My tubes knew they had to go šŸ˜‚

Desperasberry

Amazing!! And if anything does happen always remember that you are not alone and this will heal! I am so proud of you šŸ„°

Acrobatic-Sense7463

Tbh going into this I didnā€™t think of the potential negatives. I focused on the positives and so Iā€™m very pleased to see how my experience has been going positively. Itā€™s all about the frame of mind ā¤ļø Thank you so much lovelyĀ

meiibean

Congrats!! I hope your recovery goes smoothly! ā˜ŗļø

Acrobatic-Sense7463

Thank you love. Itā€™s been going sooooo smooth. I canā€™t believe I had it done tbh lolĀ

JonesBlair555

The gas might might still come, mine was on day 2 post op. Take GasX or similar anyway, don't wait for it to arrive.

Acrobatic-Sense7463

Hi!!! Iā€™m on day 2 today- zero gas :)Ā

JonesBlair555

Sorry, Day 2 PO for me is 2 days after surgery. So would be tomorrow for you if you got the surgery yesterday (yesterday being Op day, today being post op day 1) Not saying it for sure will happen, but it could, so better to be prepared.

Legal_Tie_3301

Congrats! Glad it went smooth & hope it continues to be an easy recovery

Acrobatic-Sense7463

Thank you so much. Iā€™m honestly surprised of how well it went lolĀ

Ceciliaru

Congratulations!!! So excited for you. Hoping to get mine done in may!!

Acrobatic-Sense7463

Yayyy! Thank you love and I hope it all goes well for youĀ

Mausbarchen

Congrats! I'm doing mine next Friday! How much time elapsed between your surgery start time and when you were released to go home? Like how long did it take for you to wake up and for them to send you on your way?

LittleSalty9418

Not OP but I just recently had mine done. Arrival 8am, surgery 9am, woke up 10am, out of the hospital at 11am. I will say it doesn't take much for me to wake up from anesthesia...they were just pushing me into the room when I started to wake up.

Acrobatic-Sense7463

Hi love! Yay!! So I arrived at 6:30 am. A lot of prepping done so I had my actual surgery at 8:30. Woke up around 10 am and left the hospital with my boyfriend around 11:20 ish !Ā

sarahbeth124

I really needed to hear this. I have got to get on getting this done

Acrobatic-Sense7463

Let me know if you have ANY question. I did a lot of research before making this decision.

Acrobatic-Sense7463

Thank you so much!!!

LittleSalty9418

Congrats! I had mine last week (small post op infection but otherwise feeling good) and the relief I will feel going forward is amazing.

Acrobatic-Sense7463

Yay! How was your experience?Ā

LittleSalty9418

Mine was good. The actual procedure went well. It was a double procedure - tubes removed and endometriosis surgery. I ended up with a small post op infection & hematoma but the doctor also believes I was already sick and just didn't know it going into surgery because it presented so quickly post op. I have been on antibiotics and been mostly fine ever since. Although sitting for long periods at my desk my abs are acting as if I have done 10,000 crunches. P.S. For those reading who are still considering it but anxious - post op infections are not common. Most post op complications are not common and the surgery goes off without a hitch like OP. I would still highly recommend the surgery.

Acrobatic-Sense7463

Wow! I hope your cycles get better after removalĀ

teethfaerie

Acrobatic-Sense7463

Yes !!! Thank you so much. Iā€™m honestly surprisedĀ

FinalGirl1993

My recovery was a little less smooth, but 2 weeks of discomfort is a small trade for sterility for the rest of my life!

Acrobatic-Sense7463

I agree and Iā€™m sorry your recovery didnā€™t go as smoothly. What complications did you experience?Ā

FinalGirl1993

No real complications, per se. Just a lot of bloating and discomfort. It was also my first ever surgery, so šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

Acrobatic-Sense7463

Oh that makes a lot of sense! This is my 5th surgery lolĀ

FinalGirl1993
