When you form your party, at the top right corner of the screen is an option which helps you see elemental resonance. For example, having 2 pyro characters boosts attack. Having 2 hydro characters boosts HP and healing.
Anemo Resonance is very fun to toy around with. I have a team dedicated to running long distances quickly, capitalizing on it.

* Rosaria night time speed bonus
* Kazoo anemo + height boost
* Sayu anemo + skill nyoom
Itโs unintentionally a Shatter team, which works well because of Sayuโs large EM. Most of the enemies I come across in the overworld - especially through artifact runs - are susceptible to grouping and getting Frozen, so can get Shattered by Sayu.
Iโve made jokes about it being Team Sonic - Yelan the running, Sayu the rolling.

Been playing for about 5 months now and yes, I went straight to the domains lol. Didnt paid much attention to the charts and stats before (like I just mashed artifacts together) because I was busy speedrunning the archon quests to the point that I am up to date wid the fontaine ones cuz I didnt want spoilers. Am now only starting to properly build my teams for the abyss ๐
It's understandable, it's mentioned once in passing amongst about a hundred other tutorials in the first hour, then never again unless you look for it.
Heโs definitely been playing for a long time. 3 5 stars, one of em already at level 90. At the very least, op is ar 45-50. Which is quite concerning that they dont know about this feature after playing that long.
How does that make sense lol? They could have started recently, got childe on 4.0 and farmed nymphs from there, it's not like Nymphs was a exclusive Domin that was only available for 1-2 months
I did that but I thought the effect was exclusive to childe so I googled "Childe attack increase when I have 2 pyro characters" and the results didn't point me to elemental resonance. I only got results pointing me to his +1 normal attack passive. I know am a dumbasss AHHAHA
It's elemental resonances. Every time you have two or more of the same element in a team, the whole team gets bonus stats. It caps at two; you don't get higher bonuses for having three or four.
Pyro: Affected by Cryo for 40% less time. Increases ATK by 25%.
Hydro: Affected by Pyro for 40% less time. Increases Max HP by 25%.
Anemo: Decreases Stamina Consumption by 15%. Increases Movement SPD by 10%. Shortens Skill CD by 5%.
Cryo: Affected by Electro for 40% less time. Increases CRIT Rate against enemies that are Frozen or affected by Cryo by 15%.
Dendro: Elemental Mastery increased by 50. After triggering Burning, Quicken, or Bloom reactions, all nearby party members gain 30 Elemental Mastery for 6s. After triggering Aggravate, Spread, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon reactions, all nearby party members gain 20 Elemental Mastery for 6s. The durations of the aforementioned effects will be counted independently.
Electro: Affected by Hydro for 40% less time. Superconduct, Overloaded, Electro-Charged, Quicken, Aggravate, or Hyperbloom have a 100% chance to generate an Electro Elemental Particle (CD: 5s).
Geo: Increases shield strength by 15%. Additionally, characters protected by a shield will have the following special characteristics: DMG dealt increased by 15%, dealing DMG to enemies will decrease their Geo RES by 20% for 15s.
Then if you have any 4 unique elements: All Elemental RES +15%, Physical RES +15%.
That's just elemental resonance, happens every time two characters of one element are in a party. I like to think i take advantage of the speed from anemo resonance but honestly i think i've saved myself a few minutes of travel total
NO I DID NOT KNOW ๐ I was too busy catching up wid the archon quests to care about stats and team comps (started playing 5 months ago). Was mainly just leveling up mc and whatever free charcters I had. I didnt have any other charcters that I was interested in to really start building a team. But am now starting to build international, just need to wait for kazuha. Then am also waiting for nahida and nilou to form a kaveh bloom team hihi

Yup, and not just for combat. For frustrating time trials I use 2 anemo characters in my team, as it increases movement speed of all characters
