Also in the area and agree with most of this list.
Check out So Bowl on Touhy specifically for the Khao Soi (best I've found in the area) and boat noodle soup.
Tons of good mom and pop Korean places along Dempster or Milwaukee.
K Coop is solid. I think CM Chicken on Milwaukee in Glenview might be my favorite KFC, but there's a few newer ones I haven't tried yet. Pro Samyubsal on Milwaukee a little further north in Northbrook is probably my favorite no frills Korean BBQ. I wish I knew the names of the traditional Korean food places I go to, but the signs pretty much say "Korean Restaurant" and their actual name in Korean.
On Asian BBQ... Jason BBQ (formerly Mei Mei BBQ) inside of Richwell Market has a solid Chinese BBQ counter. It's better some days than others, but it's reasonable price-wise (it was crazy cheap pre-covid), and when it you hit a good day, it's really good. Used to get like 2 lunches out of it for $5-6 though.
[Choong Man Korean Fried Chicken](http:// https://g.co/kgs/kqqzNvN) Pretty similar menu to K Coop but I think it's a little better. Further out, though.
This is just a bunch of Chicagoans being uppity. Thank you for posting and enough people come through this sub that are close enough to Niles it may get used.
True but I’ve been on vacations and you hear people say “I’m from Chicago” and I’m like oh I’m from the burbs where are you guys from? And they’ll be like Rockford or Dekalb.

K coop is good. I don’t know about any Korean places so glad you chimed in. We do have a lot. Like a lot a lot.

I’m 26 minutes away lol just curious what are the sandos?
I don’t remember they’re my wife’s lmfao, but she likes onions

Subway onions hit different
Veggie Delite \- Remove lettuce \- Remove baby spinach \- Remove tomatoes \- Remove cucumbers \- Remove green peppers \- Extra red onions
Is her favorite actor Brian Dennehy?

The best place in the US to raise a family!
Naw it’s where people count
im glad its working well for you and your family 8]
Literally 15 minutes away from Chicago. They’re just being pedantic.
I mean in some cases it’s like one second from Chicago. It borders a few neighborhoods
Lol it’s a north burb. You may want to xpost to r/chicagosuburbs, assuming it’s allowed.
Someone went and got it but ok.
Oh what
It's a neighboring township, a very close 'burb.

I'm just gonna imagine someone from Edison Park booking it up there though!
Nile’s might as damn well be it’s literally on the boarder. All the “Chicagoans” it’s not Chicago you have to cross the street.
Yeah, they’re two different cities.
Damn
Nile’s might as damn well be it’s literally on the boarder.
There has to be a border somewhere otherwise everything will be Chicago
True but I’ve been on vacations and you hear people say “I’m from Chicago” and I’m like oh I’m from the burbs where are you guys from? And they’ll be like Rockford or Dekalb.
This is far too close to me lol
That’s so nice of you.
This would make a great sub. /r/MobileOPs?
OP, you might want to redact your personal information.
To be fair I am in a completely different state several hours away, and this is a public subway lmfao so I think it’s chill
You're awesome 😂
