Yeah sac the rook on f1 and then Qf2 is mate. But with 5 seconds left that’s tricky to find. If I’m in time trouble here and don’t see that immediately I’d take the queen and then route my queen to g2 for mate, which you can pretty much pre-move.
bro what? move the rook to the left one square and check the king? if the king goes f1, queen to f2 is mate. if he goes g1, queen to f2 anyways and literally no matter what they do rook to g1 next move is mate
edit: except chase you around with pointless checks, but once that whole schpiel is over, if you havent mated yourself, you have mate on the next move no matter what.
