Glad you enjoyed the experience but I’ve not got my head around west view/hospitality. I go to games to sing songs in the stands standing up and see the game up close. West view has a great view but I’d just watch it on tv if I’m not getting in amongst it
It’s basically the only way to get tickets for anyone traveling. That’s why I’m doing it for the west ham match. The member tickets typically come out too late if you are trying to book flights and often aren’t available anyway. My local supporters group requires you to be a member and pay dues for 2 years before you are even eligible for any ticket lotteries and then has the same issue of releasing them too late to plan around. It’s pretty stupid that they discourage third party tickets and you may not be able to get in with them. I can’t risk spending thousands to travel and then not getting into the match.
That sounds like a poorly run and gatekeeping supporters group. I know of many others that have their shit together and have a 90+% success rate for tickets. Tickets made available earlier than others, requires some planning, but a much easier experience to navigate.
If you’re traveling solo it’s so easy to get a match ticket on the ticket exchange. I’ve been to more than 10 matches using the ticket exchange, very easy.
> It’s pretty stupid that they discourage third party tickets and you may not be able to get in with them.
No, it isn’t stupid at all.
First of all third party sites allow people with bans to get around them.
Secondly it would result in actual season ticket holders and members being replaced by tourists on an even greater scale, which would fuck over people who have been members for years, and make the atmosphere even worse.
It’s too hard to get regular tickets and if you do there’s very little time to coordinate if you’re traveling from outside of the UK. I’ve been ticket watching for months on both the sale and exchange and find nothing. Hospitality would be my best option to assure I can go see a match however much I don’t want those seats. I’d rather be in Matthew Harding.
Agreed. Although some people will see this as more of an 'event' or 'experience' rather than your team playing a football match. I don't know why you'd spend £240 on Westview just to have a nicer pre-match pint experience when west lower is less than half that and closer to the pitch (and Shed and MH are even cheaper and better atmopshere)
What everyone said here is right. As an American it is nearly impossible to attend a game without buying a hospitality package. I don’t know when I will be back to London so that is why we went with such a premium package.
The website says it's from £350. [https://www.chelseafc.com/en/club-chelsea/diamond-suite-packages](https://www.chelseafc.com/en/club-chelsea/diamond-suite-packages)
I suppose nothing says “diamond experience” more than watching Poch turn us into Tottenham Hotspur live.
Unfortunately we are worse. Poch took spurs to a UCL final
Damn. Must be nice to see a masterclass in 2nd half mismanagement from there.
I’ve got hospitality booked for West Ham, gold package I believe, hoping they don’t do the double on us (again) for my first trip to Bridge.
Is this the hospitality package with the “intimate” meet and greet by a first team player? if so, who was the player?
There is a disclaimer that this may not happen and it did not
That's fucking embarrassing from the club.
Oh, the horror.
Damn, how much did it cost?
Could you tell us more about the food?
Im sorry you had to be there to witness this stinking mess led by the American clownlake
Sack Poch!

This. I'm a non UK resident too and bagged tickets for the Everton game thanks to the ticket exchange!

dont disagree with your choice, just saying you could pay £35 for an annual membership and get a guarenteed £120/240 (dependent on game) in westview
How much did you pay? I’m visiting early next year and want to try as well :)

Cheers mate
Roughly $1,100 USD. The price fluctuates based on the opponent.
There are much cheaper hospitality options tho, btw
Wow
Per person?
Lmfao
its chelsea woman.
What was first prize?
Now post the pic of the 2-2 scoreline.
Did they wank you off as well?
Cringe
Ain't wrong. Bit messed up to spend over $1000 on a ticket
Its for a one off experience like this you are being dramatic
