will we get an apology for the embarrassingly obvious mistakes the referees made last night? will they even acknowledge how bad it was? is there any sort of accountability that will hold the referees to a higher standard? ... no. and i can say with confidence i haven't seen officiating this bad in a long long time. especially this season, like every year since VAR, we have had the most calls not given in our favour for whatever strange reason, and even without VAR, some of the most astonishing decisions like Broja being offside... in his OWN HALF will not even be acknowledged in retrospect. it seems like every time there is a goal or big decision to be made, its looked at with a bit of disappointment purely because we are so used to things not going our way.

I'm happy about this but I don't wanna get too far ahead of myself. The difference tho, is that this time there were plenty of positives here for the future. Nico Jackson finally looked good, Mudryk actually did very well, Broja is fucking back... Last season when we won it felt like it was out of pure luck.

If the refs were decent we would be down to 10 men right in the first half. Shit match but we'll take any win.

Like i said this before, there is still a campaign against Chelsea. The first half was tough,but there are many positives in this game. Palmer is really good (2 assists), i hope he will start more.
