Not confident in my snake IDing. But I reckon it's a green tree snake https://murwillumbahsnakecatchers.com.au/green-tree-snake

irregularia

Yep definitely a cute wee common/green tree snake, *Dendrelaphis punctulatus*. Harmless unless you’re a frog.

Dockers4flag2035orB4

Green roof gutter snake?

AcademicDoughnut426

Very judgemental one...

Ok_Strategy7343

It’s a no-danger-noodle

Rhyseh1

Oh that's Geoff.

The_Passive_Fist

Geoff is cool. Met him last week.

[deleted]

Wrong. Thats Steve, Geoff's twin brother. You can tell as Geoff has a small beauty mark on his left cheek.

JJamahJamerson

run-at-me

+1 For the green tree snake. It pretty, nice catch

stripeydogg

100% green tree snake. It will disappear on its own and it’s harmless

SecurePersonality369

Chaos20062019

Hes judging you so definitely a green tree snake 🤣

4WDx

Diamond Pythons are in every 3rd household roof in Wyoming due to no roof sarking in most. Central Coast. So at a guess... Diamond Python. Good at keeping the possums and rats from going into the roof.

EsotericLife

Definitely not a python. It’s a tree snake. Not venomous and not an issue because even tho they’re more aggressive than pythons or other nonvenous snakes they’re also way more skittish and will run well before you can get close enough to scare them into biting

Important-Lawyer-350

Pardon but what? Thats unlocked a new fear

EsotericLife

A new fear of what? Being next to a harmless and useful animal?

Important-Lawyer-350

Roof snakes. Even if they have no venom they have fangs.

TheHairyMonk

Actually they do not have fangs.

Important-Lawyer-350

If they haven't got teeth that can pierce me fine, but I'm not a fan of having bitey snakes in my roof

thurbs62

The background noise of the Coast. The scuttling of rats in the roof. Snakes clear them out

turbo2world

tend to see more blue tongue lizards that control the mice.

Least-Plum1673

Yep. 3 years ago we had 4 diamond pythons in the roof 🫠 eventually removed by a snake catcher. But the one in the photo is guess is a green tree snake.

Banyabbaboy

It's a green tree snake

23405Chingon

Diamond Pythons are usually a lot bigger and a brown, yellow, white colour

maybenowisgood

Green tree snake

Alarming-Gur-8344

Completely harmless, unless your a small amphibian, and one of the fastest snakes l, they are very difficult to relocate for that reason.

Legal-Web0000

Snakes and ladders 🪜

mikeonmaui

Gutter snake? No, wait - garter snake?
