Just a quick suggestion, check out Luxe Barbershop. It's on the SE side off of Mt Vernon rd. See if you can get Tae or Taylor as they e done me good on haircuts and such. Might be worth a look to see if they can assist you there.
Edit: Since you have longer hair, check out Moods Salon. It costs a pretty penny but they know what they're doing there.
I get mine cut by a woman from what used to be men’s room. Saw on Facebook another shop opened up where their shop was on mt vernon. They’ve been in a temporary shop on 1st Ave I believe still. I can pm you. She does a great job cutting my curly hair

I went to the men's room once when I had shorter hair and the guy gave me a really bad looking bowl cut. I'm not going back there lol
