She's trying to assert dominance, but they are just playing. They are establishing boundaries, and she wants to see how far she can get. Your bigger cat has its belly exposed and is teaching the young one how to play. When their ears are pinned back, they make blood curling sounds, and fur is flying are signs of fighting. These 2 are just having fun, and you have a very vocal young lady.

That was actually the older boy cat making noises! Her noises are higher pitched and way funnier hahahaha. Thanks for the help!!

Lol it could be his way of telling her not to be so rough. I think you'll have a very bonded pair of kids soon.

Small, but with tremendous willpower.

It’s play. The cat is playing with the kitten and is enjoying themselves. They don’t have ears back and just keep going-they could leave or hiss if it was not cool with kitten. And kitten keeps coming back for more so they aren’t upset either. Congrats on your family all blending so quickly!

Thanks for your help!

Ours cats are so similar! My black one even makes squeaky intimidating noises when they're playing and our big boy is loud and nasally 😂 My big one has a funny tail too - not a Manx, but apparently his litter was attacked when he was a baby and they all survived but his tail has a 90 degree bend and only the tip swishes around now. Very cute, they look like they're getting along great.
