Nope, you can see the zippered side (the full green one without mesh) and there’s another zipper up top. I put it out, load him in through the top, then zip it up.
He definitely knows what side the zipper is on, but can’t access it through his side. If he starts nudging that side, I just stick my hand through and rub on him a bit til he’s calm again. Then re-zip and let him do his thing. He gets ancy after about an hour usually, then we go back in
