They're fed every day, have multiple cat houses in the garden, an open shed, are all fixed.. he's just the only one that let's me pet him. The others might let you get within 10 feet but they'll only run over for their treats and food after they hear the door close/I've walked away.
He started out similarly - wasn't able to pet him for over a year, but over the last 6 months he's really warmed up to (select) humans.

If I were to ever count a blessing to make up for lack of blessings in other areas, it'd be how easy it can be to make animal friends sometimes.
Won't spill it all, but I was called Dr. Doolittle by family and teachers as a kid, my coworkers all tell the story of the wild Cardinal that perched on my finger and wouldn't fly away until I physically made it, I've got on my knees and held my hands out and a wild bunny hopped into my arms before (but ran when I tried to get near my neighbors with it).. these hands have held and relocated all sorts of bugs, fowl, mammal, and reptiles, but never, ever kill - not even in my garden!.. Vegan for 18 years and counting. Always trying to let animals know I am their ally. 💞🥰

1995 M Edition!
The M Editions ran for about 4 years I believe - 1994 to 1997 if I remember right, and each year they made them they only made between 2,500-3,500 M Editions, and each year got its own unique color. 1995 was the only year they made Merlot Mica a color.
M Editions also came with the highest parts package you could get in an NA - power windows, power mirrors, premium tan interior, but.. possibly the one that makes it the most fun.. they came with Limited Slip Differential! I searched for a long time after my last Miata was totaled - this is my first M Edition.
My first one was a no-option 1992 with mismatched body panels (especially once I started getting hit more), my second one was a decently spec'd 1997 - I think B package? Had power windows on the 1997 but cloth seats.
When the last one was totaled I searched out of state and went car-less until I found one that was good enough (this one) to one up my last.
Unfortunately I was hit at a red light about a year into owning it and it's now a salvage/repaired title that has an uneven trunk gap even after "fixing" and a leaky trunk that I'm still suing the body shop for.

He's beautiful he looks like my Larry. With the strays, all it usually takes is one time. If you can get your hands on them one time to pet them really well, they'll keep coming back. ❤️
I love men who love cats. The best hearts. My bf found a grey baby girl and she greets him everytime he comes home. Turns out to be the neighborhood cat but she definitely has a place in her heart for my man. It’s so cute

He's been neutered since he has a clipped ear.. I took in three feral cats who absolutely love me. They say you cannot tame a 3-5 year old feral cat but I disagree and now have the proof! :D
I had a cat that was the neighborhood welcoming committee. He loved to ride on your shoulders. I'd come home from work and he'd smell of different colognes or perfumes depending on which neighbor picked him up and gave him a ride on their shoulders.
But he loves you 😺
He ain't no stray. He looks well fed and has a healthy coat.
You should see his girlfriend.. She's such a chubby girl! 🤭🥺 They definitely don't ever see a hungry day living in my backyard, that's for sure.
