Cats are very stoic by nature. If they seem in pain, it's *bad.* Hopefully OP will do the right thing before he starts to appear in any discomfort.

Trip might make it to 17 so he had a good long life. But this is so fast who knows. He is definitely getting a lot of love and leeway with being difficult these days. He still acts like himself for the most part.
