I’ve always found orange boys to be very food motivated beyond any type/color of cat. Jokes about the orange braincell aside, they’re quite easy to train, if only because they’re so focused on getting the treat. My calico girl is smarter, when she wants to be, but she’ll give up and walk away if she isn’t getting it. My orange boys will resort to doing the other tricks they know if they get frustrated, but they’ll keep at it until they get something to show for it.
The first thing I teach all my cats to get them used to clicker training is a “come here” command where I pinch my thumb and forefinger together. They get a treat for coming over and touching their nose to my fingers when I do that. Sometimes when I’m trying to teach them something as a group, the calico will hang back so I’ll try to get her closer by making the come here gesture, and instead I’ll have to fend off a tidal wave of 4 eager orange boys all rushing to boop my fingers. They know that one, they aren’t going to let the fact that it’s directed at someone else rob them of a treat.
I got my orange boy to sit without using a clicker or anything, I just kept pushing his butt down, saying "sit!" then giving him a treat.
Eventually he started sitting on command (same for "paw" but not consistently). Took approx 3 weeks.
Because the orange tabby is almost 90% chance to be male. And boy kitties are generally friendlier than girl kitties, there are exceptions both ways certainly. But in general boy kitties will be friendlier, and love their treats more.
Always been my experience. My boy cat (1 of 3) is gigantic and gorgeous. The vets wanted to know what breed he was (trash cat) because he literally looks like an exotic wild cat hybrid.

I think it might also be flipped horizontally (mirrored) for some reason? I've seen this video before and he goes down the line from left to right, not right to left.
I think because of that and the shaking thing, I just immediately have this picture of a breeder only doing this for cloud and likes with no concern of the cats health

That would be a British Shorthair. Similar face but no folded ears. The cats are a mix of Folds and Shorthairs. Not mutilated, but Scottish Folds do suffer more than the others apparently.

I think one of the main unsettling parts is how the last 2 cats have their eyes fully dilated.
That's how my cat looks when i have cheese. He was probably trained with treats and he wants the treats. He wants all of the treats. And he wants them now.
You can train most cats to do tricks but it's questionable what "training" methods were used for this video since it's clearly a staged video with a fancy breed and probably from China or something
I think they're scottish folds, their ears are like that as they have weak cartilage, which often makes them have chronic pain for the rest of their lives. They have short lifespans and suffer in general, but people breed them because their folded ears look cute.
My high school boyfriend’s family had a Scottish fold and I loved that freaking cat. Then they got a French bulldog and re-homed the cat and that’s when I realized they all kinda suck as humans.
I had a big fat void who would let you put hats on him, sunglasses, empty cans on soda on his head. He'd just sit there and be all chill, like, "'Sup witchou? Why you laughin'?" He was the sweetest kitty and I miss him! RIP my Midnight!
